Were you aware that Animal Friends has a program called Home2Home(H2H)?

H2H is designed to help families rehome their animals without surrendering them to the shelter. There could be a multitude of reasons why the family would prefer this approach. One simple reason is that a shelter environment is stressful on the animals.

That said, check out some of the dogs and cats available through the Home2Home program. You may find your loving and lasting companion.

H2H helps families facing the difficult decision to find a new home for their beloved pets by allowing them to take an active role in the adoption process.

We would like to wish everyone a safe and relaxing July 4th.

July 4th can be very stressful for our fur family. To help them cope with the picnics and the loud fireworks, we're offering 20% OFF our calming aids.

We've also put together some safety tips for you.

- Have on hand your pet's records and proof of ownership
- Make sure your pet is wearing its collar with their identification tags
- Secure your pet's surroundings so it's difficult for them to escape
- Use a proper leash for your pet
- Utilize some enrichment (puzzles, snuffle mats, etc.) to keep them occupied during your celebration

Great article and insight into the efforts our friend and neighbor goes through to rescue, rehabilitate, and home some of the many kittens saved from the streets.
