These are our 6th succession of onion, 8th of carrot, 2nd summer squash, 5th beet, 3rd kale, 3rd tomato, newly seeded (yet to germinate) zinnia/sunflowers, 3rd spring onion, 2nd bean (Dragon’s Tongue) and some sunflowers ready for their last harvest before we flip that bed and seed something new!

We took two weeks off of pastries while we were in the mountains but we are excited to announce that starting this Saturday (8/2) we are bringing back the best pastries in town!

Reminder that this is also a fundraiser for Holden”s school trip to NYC/Philly/DC next July. Moon raccoon has generously provided Holden with a discounted wholesale price and the boy does the rest. He puts in orders each week (yes we requested GF options for Saturday.) He pays for it. He rides downtown with me at 7am every Saturday to pick them up. He sells them at our market. He balances his earnings, sets some $$ aside for the following weeks order and the rest into savings toward the trip. He’s already raised over $500!

Come see our little entrepreneur this Saturday and support his educational trip through EF Tours. I promise you won’t regret it! 🤤🤤🤤

These last two weekends we have done the unthinkable for a farm family….we took time off! We trusted the staff we have worked hard to train to run the show and allow us to step away and reboot. We try our damndest to make sure we live by the motto of “never working so hard to make a living that you forget to make a life.”

So we left. We took the camper to Jackson Lake and then again to Leadville. We hiked. We swam. We played spoons and enjoyed campfires. We laughed with eachother and reminded ourselves that building this business was intended to provide for us a life that we dreamed of.

We are thankful for our great staff holding things down while we were away and we are thankful for our amazing community for continuing to come out and support us.

No more breaks until late October for now. Head down. Grind. Push forward.

Our family has taken the last two weekends to do a mid summer reset while camping.

We are so very fortunate and thankful to have reached the point in our development as a business that we have amazing people like these two holding down the market while we are away recharging and preparing for the second half push.

Farmer Wendy and Makayla have done such a good job keeping things rolling without us. Big love to these two ladies.

Fleischers are back next week and no more days off until late October. Thanks for the break yall. We needed it.
