Meet Dasha!
This beautiful girl is about 5-6 months old and already a shining example of strength and resilience. Dasha’s start to life was far from easy—she was left outside in a crate without shelter, food or water for days. Thankfully, a kind-hearted soul stepped in and contacted DDR.

Dasha is blind, so she’ll need a special home that can provide her with a safe supportive environment. Despite her vision loss, she’s full of love, curiosity and affection. Dasha has been learning what it truly means to be a dog. She’s discovered toys, felt the grass beneath her paws for the first time, and started exploring the world. Despite everything, her spirit is unbreakable. 🩷

Dasha is looking for a very special forever home—one filled with patience, love, and a sense of safety. While she may have no vision, don’t let that fool you—she’s full of curiosity, affection, and has a zest for life. She’s super smart and willing to please. She’s learning to explore, and will continue blossoming in a home that understands her needs.

Dasha’s vet check went great, and we’re so happy with how well she’s doing! At just 5–6 months old, this sweet girl has already shown incredible resilience and spirit. 💕

After all these years, I'm still uplifted by the kindnessess of humans who do not just walk away, but make an effort too help a soul in extreme need. 😇 It is my belief that this human is the only reason this puppy will live to see many more days.

A kind-hearted individual reached out to a rescue friend, concerned about a Doberman puppy who was confined to a crate on a porch being completely exposed to extreme heat and storms without food or water. 😭

Fortunately, his friend directed him to call DDR, and through a joint effort, the puppy was brought to me today. 🙏 TinyCause thank you for being absolutely amazing!

We knew she was blind in one eye, but were unaware she was blind in the other as well. The vet confirmed this precious puppy had no vision in the existing eye, and we'll have a follow-up appointment to determine if medical treatment is needed. Additionally, she has ear infections and is severely underweight due to worms.

Thankfully, someone courageously spoke up and rescued her from a life of neglect. Now, Dasha, as we've lovingly named her, will never worry about her well-being again.

🩷She's safe, cherished, and will receive the compassionate care she deserves. Our rescue hasn't had a fundraiser recently, and we'd deeply appreciate any donation toward her care.

PS. She is THE SWEETEST girl in the world despite all she has been through.

Say hello to this beautiful baby boy, whose journey is just beginning. This sweet Doberman mix is coming to us all the way from our incredible rescue partner in Puerto Rico, and he’s already stolen our hearts.

With those soulful eyes and gentle spirit, we know he’s going to touch a lot of lives. He may be small now, but he’s filled with hope, resilience, and so much love to give.

Grizzy

Grizzy is a 9 year old boy with a gentle soul who suddenly found himself without a home. Grizzy is now looking for a new place to lay his head and a heart to bond with. 💛 Foster mom fondly calls him her little grizzly bear. Grizzy has been loved and cherished his entire life. He’s kind, calm, and incredibly well-mannered.

He’s fully house-trained, friendly with everyone he meets. Grizzy LOVES going for walks, cuddling and likes belly rubs. ♦️He does great with other dogs. ♦️No cats!

🐾 Meet Ebby! 🐾
📍 Pittsburgh, PA

Looking for a gentle giant with a heart of gold? Meet Ebby, a 7-year-old black and rust Doberman who’s basically a life-sized teddy bear with four legs and a wagging tail.

Ebby’s journey to us began after his beloved human mama passed away. Her family reached out to us for help, and we were honored to welcome this sweet soul into the DDR family.

At first glance, Ebby was all love—lean-ins, tail wags, and puppy-dog eyes. But at 115 pounds, he was carrying a little extra "fluff" and needed a crash course in polite pup manners (being adorable and enormous is a lot to manage!). So, off he went to a board and train program at Parkway Pet Lodge—and wow, did this boy shine! 🌟

After three weeks of learning, practicing, and tail-wagging hard work, Ebby is now a total superstar and is at the perfect weight! He knows all his basic commands, respects boundaries (no more jumping for joy!), and walks like an absolute dream on leash. Strolls through the neighborhood? Hikes on the trail? He’s your perfect walking buddy.

Don't let his age fool you—Ebby has the spirit of a much younger pup! He’s always ready for a walk, a hike, or a game of chase with his doggy friends. Yep, he’s great with other dogs and loves a good play session! (We haven’t tested him with cats yet.)

When it comes to humans? Ebby is all in. He LOVES people. Like, really loves people. He's the kind of pup who will look into your eyes and make you feel like the most special person in the world.

Ty

Ty is about 4-5 years old, 13lbs and is a gentle loving little guy looking for his forever family. He gets along great with all dogs and shows curiosity about cats. He loves going for car rides, making him a friendly and adaptable companion. He would make a great walking/hiking buddy. Ty loves sunning and exploring the yard. ☀️ 🌿 He’s looking for an active home that can get him out an about to see the world.

After overcoming heartworm, Tyrone is feeling his best and ready to fill your home with love and joy. 🩵 This sweet boy is your typical min pin. He’s affectionate and eager to make new friends.
