🐾 An Exciting Update from Berkley Creek 🐾

If you’ve ever felt like running a pet business (or any business) means juggling five different apps — you’re not alone. That’s why we’ve spent the past year building a true all-in-one platform designed to simplify life for pet care providers and pet parents alike.

From boarding and daycare to grooming, training, veterinary care, dog walking, pet sitting, and more — this app is built for everyone in the pet world. And now, we’re almost ready to launch.

📲 Before it’s published to the App Store in July, we’re inviting our routine daycare clients to participate in the final phase of testing, beginning June 1st. You’ll get early access to the Daycare Booking feature — and your feedback will help us fine-tune everything.

🗓 Here’s What’s Happening Next:

✅ Daycare Booking Goes Live for Testing June 1st
This final round of testing uses live client appointments to ensure everything is ready for launch.

📲 Boarding will be added next, and in the coming months, we’ll begin transitioning all of our clients to this platform. Eventually, every client will be signed on through the app, and it will become the central hub for how we run our business moving forward.

🌐 A custom website and Android version are also in development and will follow shortly after.

This project was created in honor of our beloved dog Milo, who passed away in December of 2024. After his passing, we shared that something meaningful was in motion — and this is it. Milo had a way of bringing people together, and that’s what we hope this platform will do for the pet care community.

If you’ve been around and trusted us to be your home away from home anytime in the last 7+ years, you may recognize the person in this photo—Haley!

Haley has been with us since November of 2018 and has seen and done just about every facet of our business since then! We were lucky enough that when we moved to our Mars location, Haley even made the distance work and continued to help when she could, all while being a full-time student and track athlete at Slippery Rock!

Throughout her four years at Slippery Rock, Haley excelled in everything she set her mind to—including a summer 2024 internship with Kiewit, a Fortune 500 company—further proving her drive, professionalism, and talent.

Back in October of 2024, Haley made the decision that after graduation, she wanted to continue her journey with us—not just as a team member, but as an owner in Berkley Creek and everything we build in the future. Although we’ve known for quite some time that this was the path she wanted, she finalized everything and officially signed on after completing her degree at Slippery Rock University just two weeks ago. As of May 19th, her new role as co-owner is now fully recognized and celebrated.

But in truth, Haley has always carried herself like an owner. Long before it was on paper, she consistently embodied the qualities every great business owner should: responsibility, dedication, pride in her work, and an unwavering love for the dogs and families we serve.

When we built our current facility, there was only one person we asked to place her handprint in the concrete before it cured—and that was Haley. At the time, none of us knew exactly what she would choose to do with her career, but we knew she had already left her mark in every way that mattered. We wanted that mark to be permanent—not just felt, but seen—as our business continued to grow.

Haley has always been a cornerstone of our business and has been there every step of the way as we’ve built it into what it is today. She embodies so many wonderful qualities—too many to list—and she truly means the world to us. Whether you’ve known it this whole time or are just finding out now, she also means the world to every pup who walks through our doors and into our lives.

Please join us in congratulating Haley on this exciting new chapter—we are so lucky to have her, and even luckier to keep building the future with her.

We are opening up tours again for new clients. Tours will be limited to one family or individual at a time and instead of the usual 60-90 minutes, these will be closer to 30.

Hello! Winston is here to make an important announcement for us ❤️🐶

The rush for summer boarding reservations has begun!

Springtime is always busy as people plan their trips, which means we are always backed up on assessment days for new pups (typically a 3–4 week wait by the time May comes around). This year, we will STOP scheduling new assessments for summer trips on May 28.

We will also pause assessments during spring break and Easter.

If you are interested in coming on as a new client please don’t wait until the last minute.
