🐾 Hello South Hills Petagogy family! 🐾
I’m so excited to introduce myself—I’m Courtney! I live in Mt. Washington with my partner Andrew and our two pups, Meko (a proud Biggies Bullies non-bully alum 😄) and Lucy.
Andrew has been a professional trainer in the pet care world for over 20 years, and I’ve been a professional groomer for 16. In 2019, I became the first Fear Free Certified Groomer in the Pittsburgh area, and since then I’ve added a few more titles to my toolbox:
✨ Master Groomer Behavior Specialist
✨ Licensed Family Dog Mediator – Handling Division
✨ Cooperative Care Trainer – Knowledge Demonstrated
For the past 6 years, I’ve had the pleasure of hosting monthly nail trim clinics at Petagogy’s East End location—and I’m thrilled to now bring them to the South Hills!
💅 Nail trims are $20, and 50% of proceeds go directly to Biggies Bullies Rescue to support their amazing pet retention programs and, of course, to spoil their fosters a bit too!
What to expect:
✔ I work on a fixed-height table for small to medium/large dogs, and larger dogs are welcome too—I’ll trim them right on the ground.
✔ You’ll stay with your pup, holding their collar or harness for comfort.
✔ Every dog gets a cheese plate! 🧀 Some pups warm up right away, others need a few visits, but once they feel safe… the cheese magic happens.
✔ If a dog seems stressed or overwhelmed, I’ll pause, reassess, and adjust. Sometimes, a quieter and more customized approach is needed, and I also offer in-home cooperative care training to help build trust, predictability, and comfort.
The first clinic is Sunday July 27th, to reserve an appt click the linktree in bio.
I can’t wait to meet you and your pups soon—let’s make nail trimming a positive experience together.
