ys wanted to make a career out of my love for animals. As a teenager I did a lot of work at a local barn and plenty of pet-sitting for family and friends. I became interested in the medical aspect of animals and right out of high school I got my first job in the veterinary field. I was in and out of the veterinary field for 8 years. Throughout my time in the veterinary field I started as a kennel technician, then a veterinary assistant and then onto on-the-job training as a veterinary technician. I worked in rescue and boarding facilities in the in-between times. I am now starting my own business, as it will allow me to set my own schedule. I currently reside in Sumter, South Carolina with my boyfriend Jon and his daughter Stella. We have a 13 year old dachshund, 9 year old German Shepherd, and two cats about 12 and 15 years old. Our cats are mainly outdoor cats with a setup in our garage. They are all super spoiled and more so like our children. I’m excited for the opportunity to meet and take care of all your fur babies! They will forever be treated as one of my own! I also have a love for photography so I am bound to take cute and silly photos to share with you!
**I have pictures of our home included in my photos. We have fixed up a cool "doggie room" out of our old pool house. So that your pets can also have their own space and time outside themselves without always being with our pets. The goal is to make it as "homey" as possible for them. We would rather the pets staying with us feel comfortable and have their space. Other then keeping a various amount of different pets boarding at a time. We have heat and air inside. There is a camera up so I can see them. Even when I am not home. There is a TV. Everything is cleaned and sanitized between each pet. The yard will be scooped. Our backyard is fully fenced with privacy fence. **It is set up like a home so if your pet starts chewing or using the bathroom on the floor they may have to be put into a kennel. Other then when they are outside.**
I have 8 years of veterinary experience. The comfort and safety of your pets is always on my mind. I keep my eyes and ears open at all times. I am a good multi-tasker, I’m extremely organized, clean, detail oriented and able to follow instructions.
**If your pet is doing daycare or boarding with me feel free to bring their bed, toys, kennel or whatever may make them most comfortable. Please notify me of any vices or needs your pet may have and how I can accommodate. If your pet is not potty trained, is known for chewing, sleeps in their kennel at night. etc.**
Please leave any feeding/medication or any other special instructions. I require any dogs that board at my home to be updated on vaccines and on flea prevention. Vaccinations I require:
