🐾 Wondering how often your pup should be groomed? Here’s what I usually recommend! 🐾
Every dog (and owner!) has different needs, so I offer a few scheduling options depending on the coat type, haircut style, hair length, and how much maintenance you’d like to do at home between appointments.
✨ 3/6 Week Schedule
• 3 weeks after the groom → Bath & tidy up
• 6 weeks after the groom → Full groom
✨ 4/8 Week Schedule
• 4 weeks after the groom → Bath & tidy up
• 8 weeks after the groom → Full groom
I often recommend these schedules for clients who love keeping their pups fluffy, soft, and looking fresh all the time. Regular baths and brushing appointments help keep the coat healthy, prevent matting, and allow for proper drying and maintenance between haircuts. It’s also a great option for anyone who needs a little extra help keeping up with coat care at home!
✨ Traditional 6-8 Week Grooming Schedule
This is great for clients who prefer to keep things simple and are comfortable maintaining their dog’s coat in between appointments with regular brushing at home.
Sometimes scheduling can also vary depending on the length of your dog’s hair. Longer coats typically need more frequent maintenance, while shorter styles can often go a little longer between appointments.
Keeping your pup on a consistent schedule helps make grooming easier, more comfortable, and gives the best overall results for their coat 💕🐶
