These two adorable HEAR rescues want to make sure you know about Foundation 23 and a wonderful opportunity to make your donation go even further! ❤️

Now through September 26, eligible donations made to Happy Endings Animal Rescue (HEAR) through Foundation 23 have the opportunity to receive a partial match. Sir Doug has become one of HEAR’s longest-tenured cats, and we simply can’t understand why. He is easygoing, independent, affectionate and seriously one cool cat.

His foster family has fostered many cats and kittens for HEAR and says Doug is the best foster kitty they’ve ever had!

“Doug is awesome! Seriously the coolest.”

“LOVE Sir Doug…such a cool cat.”

Doug is approximately 2 years old and loves his morning and evening zoomies, belly rubs when the mood strikes, and simply hanging out with his people. He’s wonderfully independent and very low maintenance.

Doug does have Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), but don’t let that scare you away. His FIC is managed with a prescription urinary diet and a calm, low-stress home.

Sir Doug would be happiest as your one and only pet — and frankly, he thinks he’s all you need. He just wants to be part of your life, do his own thing, and get a few belly rubs along the way.

Sir Doug just needs someone to choose him.

Every Adoption Day is a success — even if just one person stops by, spreads the word, asks about a rescue, or shows up on a rainy day to make a pup or kitten feel like they are the only one who matters.

And yesterday was no exception!

Despite the rainy weather, we had at least 40 people stop by HEAR. Some came to meet our rescues, some asked about volunteering, others wanted to learn more about what we do and every single visit meant something to the animals in our care.

A special thank-you to the Groom Room for coming by and supporting our rescues! We truly appreciate you being part of such a wonderful event.

But Aurora received the very best part of the day… she found her forever home! 🏡🐾❤️

There is nothing better than watching one of our rescues leave with the family they were waiting for.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, volunteered, shared our posts, asked questions, loved on an animal, or simply helped spread the word. You are all part of finding these animals their Happy Ending.

The Groom Room will be offering toenail trims and simple grooming during the event! Even better, every dog adopted will receive a FREE first groom from The Groom Room! ❤️

We have some pretty incredible animals waiting to meet you — playful kittens, sweet adult cats, and lovable dogs, all hoping tomorrow might be the day they find their person.
