LIABILITY:
I am not legally or financially responsible for items brought into or left on the premises. It is recommended that clients obtain insurance to protect against possible damage expense or loss of article(s) of value left on the premises. This includes master tapes, hard drives, or any media left at Snake Mountain Studio during sessions or before payment. DIGITAL MEDIA WAIVER:
This information is intended to educate Snake Mountain Studio's clients about the nature of digital media and also to establish legal boundaries regarding their digital data. Make multiple backups of your data. Unless there are at least two copies of the data somewhere it is not safe. Three copies is preferred. This is YOUR responsibility! Backup copies of sessions in the digital realm should be made daily during the course of a session and taken home with the artist or producer at night. Post-session backups can be made onto internal hard drives of computers, onto external Firewire or USB hard drives, stored in an online data storage bank or burned to DVD-R or CD-R. There is no certainty that a CD-R or DVD-R will hold data for the long term or that a stored hard drive will play back after sitting for any amount of time so back up your data to newer media as time goes on. I highly recommend purchasing quality, name brand hard drives. Legal Responsibilities
1. Snake Mountain Studio is not responsible for storing your data or audio tapes during the course of a recording project.

bands/musicians/rappers/etc please please please dont forget to credit your engineer(s)! whenever you post your music on soundcloud/bandcamp/youtube/reverbnation/wherever you gotta make sure that you remember to put the "recorded and mixed by joe engineer at someplace studio in somewhereville"...it would also be super sweet and awesome if you followed that with a link to the studio website or email. giving credit is especially important when you are going to release your music on vinyl/tape/cassette/etc! reach out and ask your engineer how they would like to be credited before you upload your music...besides it being what you're supposed to do (legally), it's also the cool thing to do and the right thing to do. everybody deserves to be properly credited for their hard work. and for me personally i don't have an "advertising budget" hahaha so i rely on word of mouth about my quality to get my work and name out there and help build a good reputation for myself and the job that i do...it is invaluable to me to be credited properly...it is essentially the homeys that i work with telling other people about their experience working with me.

LOL I really need to update this page more hahaha let's see...

I just recorded Disjawn (https://www.facebook.com/disjawndbeat) on Sunday! We did 8 songs and had an awesome time...so much fun with the homeys! Everything is done except vocals we'll get them next week and then distort the f**k out of you with dbeat from hell! You will never be the same!

I sent some mixes off to my buddies in Spinechain (https://www.facebook.com/Spinechain) 2 weeks ago for the 8-song EP we did together. They did a great job and it's a pleasure working with them...they clearly care about the music and love it! These songs should be done soon and will blow you away!

I also delivered the final mixes today for Hellblock 6 (https://www.facebook.com/hellblock6)! 7 songs so heavy they will vibrate your ge****ls right off of your body! I used to watch them play when I was young and fresh to the local scene, so it is surreal to work with them now. They kick ass and I'm very excited to be a part of this project so keep your ears open!

FTS (https://www.facebook.com/FTSpunk) and I recorded together for the 3rd time recently, and we are in the middle of the mixing process now. These guys are my homeys and they kick all kinds of ass...if you need some street punk in your life you have come to the right place so crank them up, crack a beer and crack some heads!

FTS today at 3pm to finish backing vox and then they're done and it's time to edit before we mix! Also just about to finish editing Spinechain and then it's mixing time for them! Besides that I'm working on some projects for myself and a couple friends but December is always slow because of the holidays so if you want to get in here now's your chance OR if you know a band or a rapper or a musician who needs help affording recording and you want to help them out then hit me up I do all kinds of gift certificates
