Luca has graduated from his Basic Training! Over the next several weeks him and his family will have follow up lessons to make sure he maintains his training in a functional manner! I’m so proud of his progress, from a scared puppy to a good boy with lots of manners.

Board and Train Winnie practicing her place in a busy area! Not only are we working with distractions of the mop and treats on the floor but she is also practicing around other dogs! She’s going great, one small mistake but that just means that she is continuing to learn. This girl has 2 more weeks of her board and train to get rid of those mistakes! I believe in her.

Remember Luca, the fearful puppy who was hiding in the corner his first lesson. Well now he is so confident, that he is learning to jump through hoops. LITERALLY!

Apollo has been working incredibly hard the last 2 weeks on multiple triggers. He was on the E-list in a county shelter in Arizona, he was then rescued by Pound Puppyz Rescue. He has 2 more weeks of training and then he will continue to be fostered with Pound Puppyz to continue to search for his forever home! His future adopter will receive multiple lessons with Charlie’s Mutts Dog Training to ensure a successful transition into his new environment.

Yeti has graduated from her Puppy Fundamentals Board and Train!! She is now confidently walking on a loose leash, knows sit, down, come, stay, and place. So proud of her as how much she accomplished in just two weeks!

It’s been a bittersweet transition from working with The Mannered Mutt to building my own training company, Charlie’s Mutts. I am going to miss all of the pups I have watched and help grow into amazing dogs in Texas, however I am extremely excited to meet even more owners and their dogs in Phoenix. To guide them in their training adventures while developing a stronger bond, better listening skills, and overall a better more free life.
