This is Murdock.
He can’t see you.
But he will absolutely, completely, whole-heartedly love you.
When Murdock came to us, his little body had been through more than any cat ever should. He was in terrible shape and he lost both of his eyes. The world went dark for him overnight.
You’d think that would break a spirit.
It didn’t even slow him down for a minute.
Murdock decided that if he couldn’t see the world, he’d simply feel it instead. He confidently trots through a house like he’s lived there forever. He memorizes every corner, every couch, every cozy spot. He lives happily alongside other cats, dogs, and kids because love knows no limits.
Oh, and Murdock learned how to sit up on his back legs and beg for food.
A blind cat. Begging.
Like a tiny circus performer who knows exactly how cute he is. Works every time on us suckers. He knows what he’s doing 😉
He’s gentle. He’s playful. He’s affectionate. He’s ridiculous in the very best way. Murdock has zero self-pity and a heart big enough to fill every room he walks into.
He doesn’t know he’s different.
He doesn’t know he’s missing anything.
He only knows that humans are kind, laps are warm, and life is meant to be enjoyed.
All Murdock wants for Christmas is a home. 🎄
A family who understands that sometimes the most special souls don’t come in perfect packages.
Murdock may not see the lights on the tree…
but he will feel every ounce of love in the room. 💚🎄
