Between the chocolate, turkey bones, decorations, and dropped food during family chaos, this is the time of year when pets get extra curious and pet parents get extra nervous.
Here’s what you should know 👇
❌ Common Holiday Hazards:
Chocolate & xylitol (toxic)
Turkey bones (splinter + cause blockages)
Stuffing/onions/garlic (GI upset + toxicity)
Tinsel, ribbons, ornaments (cats LOVE these = danger)
Grapes/raisins (highly toxic)
⚠️ Signs your pet may have eaten something dangerous:
Vomiting or diarrhea
Drooling
Acting tired or “off”
Not wanting food
Bloated belly
Trying to vomit but can’t
