Arf-Anage Dog Rescue We are a dog rescue committed to finding homes for all breeds. We specialize in moms and puppies, owner surrenders, and family dogs in the shelters.

We engage in the last litter program. We actively educate the public about the importance of altering. We specialize Moms and Pups and Puppies from owner surrender and the shelters. Litters of pups that were "accidental" or the last of a litter that they "couldn't get rid of." Please do not buy from backyard breeders! Adopt don't shop! Our Motto is "NO MOM LEFT BEHIND"

We provide all basic veterinary care including spay/neuter prior to adoption. We make every effort to find perfect homes and require a home inspection before adoption. We will ALWAYS take a dog back if it doesn't work out with their adoptive family. We offer 80% refunds on adoption fees up to 5 days after the adoption. We also offer assistance to help find free or reasonable spay and neuter for owned pets.

Hi there! My name is Teddy, and yes, just like the bear! 🧸 My foster mom calls me her cuddly little teddy bear because nothing makes me happier than snuggling up with my people.
I’m almost 8 weeks old and am an Australian Shepherd mix. I’m a super fluffy, happy-go-lucky boy who loves making new friends. When I’m not cuddling, you can usually find me playing with my foster siblings of all sizes or exploring and having fun outside.

I’m currently working on crate and house training, and I’m learning very quickly! I’m a smart little guy with a big heart, and I can’t wait to find a family to call my own.

Hi! My name is Lucky, and I’m a fluffy, happy girl who’s ready to find my forever family! 💕 I’m almost 8 weeks old and am an Australian Shepherd mix.

My favorite things to do are playing with my foster siblings of all sizes, chewing on bones, and taking cozy naps after a fun day of adventures. I’m a sweet, playful pup with lots of love to give!

Even though I’m still young, I’m already working hard on crate and house training. My foster family says I’m doing a really great job and learning more every day. ☺️

🚨 FOSTER NEEDED URGENTLY – SWEET LAB MIX “GREG” 🚨

We are desperately trying to find a safe place for a stray lab mix we’ve been caring for since 5/25. We’ve named him Greg, and he is truly an amazing dog who deserves a second chance. Unfortunately, we can only keep him until 6/9 as we will be leaving the state until August.

🐾 About Greg:
• Approx. 3–4 years old
• Possibly unneutered, no microchip or collar
• Completely housebroken – zero accidents
• Knows “sit” and takes treats gently
• Rides perfectly in the car
• Very affectionate – loves being close to his people
• Sleeps through the night (currently thinks he’s a bed dog 💙)

🐶 Temperament:
Greg has been wonderful with our three small dogs and has shown incredible patience—even when one of our more dominant dogs has been antagonizing him. He has not reacted, but this situation isn’t fair to him long-term and we don’t want to push him to his limit.

⚠️ Notes:
• May have some sensitivity/pain in his left hind area (showed discomfort when brushed there)
• Can jump a gate, so will need a secure setup
• Working on leash manners (he does pull)
• Doesn’t like being separated from his people—he just wants love

💔 We were on our way to take him to the shelter, but we couldn’t do it after seeing how gentle and well-behaved he is. He does NOT belong in a stressful shelter environment.

🙏 We are actively searching for his owner, but in the meantime, we need a foster or rescue placement ASAP.
We are even willing to help financially to ensure he gets the care he needs.

Please help us give Greg the chance he deserves. Even sharing this post could save his life.

Meet Rio, Dutch, and Glamis!
These three sweet Aussie boys are getting ready to start meeting potential families this weekend!

Rio is the adventurer of the group. With his mostly white coat and striking blue merle patches, he's always the first to explore new places, investigate new toys, and lead his brothers into their next adventure.

Dutch is the cuddle expert. This handsome black-and-white boy loves attention, belly rubs, and being close to his people. Sweet and affectionate, he's guaranteed to steal your heart with his loving personality.

Glamis is the shy boy with a fierce spirit. He may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, his playful, loyal, and loving nature shines through. He's the perfect mix of gentle and brave.

All three boys are incredibly sweet, love playing with toys, enjoy a good game of tug-of-war, and are looking for families to call their own.

Our rescue is full. Our fosters are stretched thin. Yet today, five approximately 10-week-old puppies were abandoned at our facility.

They appear to be Lab mixes, and while we have a foster family able to take two of them, we still need placement for the remaining puppies.

These sweet babies deserve a safe place to land while they begin their journey to finding forever homes.

💕 Meet Betty! Last of her Litter and totally adorable!💕

Betty is a 5-month-old Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog/Chow(at least in the ears) mix, and she’ll grow to around 40 pounds—the perfect size for adventures during the day and snuggles at night.

Whatever her mix turns out to be, she is already a smart, playful, and affectionate pup. She has calm puppy energy but still ready for the next adventure. She is the one that watches first and then jumps in. She is completely potty trained, kennel trained, doggie door trained and good with other dogs. Perfect combination of puppy energy, intelligence and no puppy messes.

Betty has been so patient and watched every sibling leave, wondering when she would get her chance.

🐾 Help Meeko Get the Fresh Start He Deserves 🐾

Meeko is nothing short of an amazing puppy. When he came to us, he was badly injured and in need of immediate medical care. We consulted with several veterinarians regarding his broken hip and shattered femur. Unfortunately, the damage is so severe that they all agree amputation is the best option to give Meeko a healthy, pain-free future.

The good news is that puppies are incredibly resilient, and with surgery, Meeko is expected to recover well and go on to live a happy, active life.

Thanks to our amazing supporters, we have already raised about half of the funds needed for his surgery. We are so grateful for every donation, share, and word of encouragement. We still need help reaching our goal so Meeko can get the care he desperately needs.
