Personal Dog Training Personal Dog Training provides private in-home/real world training & education using the Communication Command approach He is often referred to as Uncle Greg!

Greg Winters is the owner and operator of Personal Dog Training, Inc. He is a dog behavior expert who has been coaching people and rehabilitating dogs for over a decade. He has done so exclusively in client homes, neighborhoods and in real life environments (no facilities- home & real world training only). This has directly informed his development of the Communication Command approach to raising

dogs and addressing all behavior, social development and neglect cases. In 2022 Personal Dog Training, Inc, launched the PDT Leaning Series using the Communication Command approach. This will allow Greg to help more people with the behavior and social development specific resources and tools he has developed for dog parents. Until the development of the PDT Leaning Series these techniques had only been available to private training clients. He has helped thousands of dogs and dog parents through private coaching using the Communication Command approach he has developed. Greg is proud of the many close and long term relationships he has had with the dogs and parents he has assisted over the years. Personal Dog Training, Inc, has provided staff training and dog retention support to numerous rescue groups including The Greater Birmingham Humane Society, The Shelby Humane Society, Buddy’s Buddies Rescue, Two by Two Rescue, Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR), Luv of Dogs Fund and Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary. Greg and his PDT practice is a recommended resource for numerous Veterinary practices including Saguaro Veterinary Hospital, Horizon Animal Hospital and Dynamite Animal Clinic all located in Scottsdale AZ. Greg has appeared regularly on local Fox and CBS TV channels as a guest to promote responsible dog ownership and highlight dogs that are in need of adoption.

Unfortunately, I’m seeing a trend where people think that doing these group classes or their dog socialization where they are always on leash just walking past each other and doing place command is enough. You and your dog are not getting the individual attention regarding your overall behavior & social development is an issue that I make sure I addressed with all my clients. Enzo and Jack’s are here in this video with my dog captain and JJ. Enzo and Jack’s have been properly socially trained so they no longer need leashes and collars constantly to socialize fully- unfortunately I do not see a lot of people progressed past the walking past other dogs place command. The dogs may not be leash reactive anymore, but they’re not fully socialized by any means- call or text today or go to our websites to learn more about us and how we can help! Unfortunately, recently adopted Cinnamon is super dog aggressive. As we start to get her rehabilitated we taught her her place command today. It will help her learn to be with other dogs in a new way. Stay tuned for updates
