Special edition DOUBLE CLAW CAM — Rattlesnake Removal!

The Claw is the ultimate predator of rattlesnakes!

Full version of the 2 part Claw Cam series I posted a few weeks back.

These two healthy Western Diamondbacks were likely frequent visitors to this cool, air conditioned garage at the edge of a desert preserve… but the owner of the property said this was the first time he’s seen them!

Remember, just because it’s the first time you see a snake somewhere doesn’t mean it’s the the snake’s first time being there!

My New Year’s resolution is to prove the National Park Service wrong and pet a bison. As you can see, I’ve already gotten pretty close…

Jaguar hunting… with cologne??

I know it sounds silly, but I’ve heard the rumor for years that the cologne “obsession” by Calvin Klein can attract big cats…

And with this most recent Jaguar sighting in Arizona, I’ve been thinking… should I put this rumor to the test? I’m not far from where these Jaguar sightings often take place, and I’m sure I could find a bottle of obsession at my closest Walmart…

Would it be a practical, scientific test? No. Would it be fun and kind of scary? Yes. Will I end up doing it? Probably.

Like and follow if you want to see me test if I can attract a Jaguar with Calvin Klein cologne!

A quick peek at one of my favorite underwater encounters of 2025…

If you want to see the full encounter with this school of yellowtail, go to my profile or tap on the reel linked to this video!

This encounter was truly something i’ll never forget!

So much to do, so much to see! No time for sleep, gotta go experience all the neat stuff!

I’ve got some super neat content coming from my latest Florida trip, make sure you’re following so you don’t miss it!

One of the most massive fish I’ve ever caught…

A huge shark that I hooked and landed right from a backyard dock in the Florida Keys!

It went like this… After a few days of filleting fish at the dock, some sharks in the area realized they could get a free meal just by hanging around.

When I noticed this, I started soaking some large baits off the dock to target some of the larger sharks in the area… it didn’t take long to get some interest, and oh boy did I get a big one!

Can’t wait to be back in Florida in just a couple months to do some shark fishing, diving, herping, exploring, and anything else neat thst presents the opportunity!

A quick dive video from my most recent trip to San Diego…

I was fortunate enough to see some really neat stuff while diving this summer, but swimming with a school of yellowtail in 15 feet of water might be the coolest encounter of all!

Between the 20+ feet of visibility and the fish between basically indifferent to my presence, this was by far one of the most unique and special experiences I’ve ever had while diving!

More footage to come from this dive, and if you like this kind of content, remember to like and follow for more neat videos like this one!

Definitely not a great way to start the year…

POV: you hike off trail in Arizona

If you ever hike off trail in Arizona, your chances of running into a scaley, venomous native are a bit higher than if you stick to the trails…

But did you know that even when you stick to the trails, you’ve probably walked past dozens of rattlesnakes without even noticing them?

Rattlesnakes rely on their camouflage as their first line of defense — if a predator can’t see me, then it can’t eat me! (And everything in the desert eats rattlesnakes!)

The intense rattling and defensive stance you see in this video is only a backup method of defense if initial camouflage doesn’t work.

PART 2 - SPOT THE SNAKE!

Comment when you see it!

I spotted this Western Diamondback Rattlesnake while hiking back from the release seen in my previous video.

As you can see, this snake relied entirely on camouflage to avoid me (a potential predator), hoping that I’d walk right by without even noticing it was there!

Despite what your crazy uncle might tell you, rattlesnakes aren’t ruthless predators that will chase you any chance they get… in fact most snakes will do the exact opposite, like you see here!
