Alright so THIS FRIDAY marks the first day of summer from school!! With that being said, the SUMMER HOURS are in starting JUNE 8TH. I will be open one week and then closed a week to match with my kids summer schedule. My hours will be 9am to 5pm on the weeks im open for those who work later!! New clients are accepted, lets grow together as summer comes in ♥️

Max came in and I love to see the change on him when he comes back, he used to be so anxious and timid and wanted to just get out but now he still tries to go outside when his dad walks out but after the door closes he goes right upstairs and jumps in the bathtub to get washed. He sits like a gentlemen for his blow dry and nails and then we get into a wrestling match while we wait for his dad to show up.. he's opened up so much and I love to see it!!

Mishka got done today and her coat definitely need the brush and blow out!! Getting all that dead hair out and brushing everything down helped her coat shine like no other!! No more dirty mishka, just a pretty girl with a big smile

BEFORE COMMENTING, THERE WILL BE NO BULLYING!! THIS POST IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES!! this is star, shes a malamute that her mom was told "do not groom because of her double coat" DOUBLE COATED BREEDS get groomed more then single!! Their dead coat if not brushed or blown out will compact into their hair and create matts that can cause skin irritants and lesions. I am using these photos (and videos in the comments) to show what happens to double coated breeds when no groomed regularly,the owner did not know and I talked with her about getting star on a schedule of routine grooming, which will be happening now every 6 weeks. In the pictures you can see f***l matting and urine burns on her va**na, dead clumps tightly entwined with her regular coat and sore paw pads from hair rubbing and matting on her feet.
I applaude this owner for coming to me and being honest, don't ever feel ashamed to ask or say "im not sure how to take care of this breed grooming wise" should you do research? Yes. But I am more then happy to help you as well and give you advice and knowledge on what to do. This took 5 and a half hours, star was a champ thru it all and im sure feels 100x better!!

** GEORGETTE HAS FOUND A HOME!! **

** UPDATE: She wasn’t in a home for 6 years then tossed out. She was in a temporary foster home for a week just so we could learn more about her!! **

Georgette is on her way to the shelter in hopes she can find her perfect forever home.

She is a 6 year old mini poodle. She is going to be very anxious for a few weeks until she settles into a new home.

She will be fine as an only dog - as long as she has a large stuffed animal to hang out with while you’re out and about! She can live with cats. She can live with dogs - but is attention hungry. So she isn’t afraid to push animals out of her way to get the closest spot to her human!! She will need help with house training but is doing great using p*e pads and going outside on a schedule!! She can live with kids.

Oh and she loves sleeping in bed with her human!

This is delilah, shes a scared cat for just about everything of grooming. An unexpected noise, dropping my blower head, she makes it clear that she doesn't want to be here BUT she does her best to stay still and let me do what I need to get her done. Lots of pets, reassurance and compliments go into getting delulah done to hopefully ease her up on knowing grooming does NOT equal torture.. keep going delulah your slowly getting there!!
