🎉🐾 Planning an event? Don't forget the dogs! 🐾🎉

Bow-Nut Bites is now accepting custom bulk treat orders for special events!

Our first custom order was a large batch of biscuits to be included as favors at a baby shower. The customer handled the packaging, while we took care of the treats. That order got us thinking about all the other events where a little something for the four-legged guests could be a pretty great addition. 🐶💙

Custom orders can include our biscuits, dehydrated treats, or a combination of both, depending on what you're looking for.

Some ideas:

🍼 Baby showers
🎂 Dog birthday parties
🐾 Rescue fundraisers
🎉 Dog-themed celebrations
💍 Weddings & showers with lots of pet parents
🎁 Party favors and special event gifts

What does “custom” mean?

🐾 Choose from our existing recipes and products
🐾 Mix and match different treats
🐾 Request specific established shapes
🐾 Need a particular theme? I'm happy to look into getting a specific cookie cutter or stamp when it makes sense for the order
🐾 Have your own packaging or design? Great!
🐾 Want to brainstorm packaging ideas together? I'm happy to do that too
🐾 Or just let us provide the treats and handle the packaging yourself

I'm not a professional packaging designer, so I'm not going to pretend there's a secret design studio hiding behind the dehydrators. 😂 But I'm absolutely open to working with you, your artwork, or your ideas.

The one thing custom orders do require is lead time. ⏰

How much time we'll need depends on the order. Larger quantities require additional production time, and certain requests may require me to order supplies or special cutters before I can get started.

I'm a one-person operation, after all. There's only one guy, one kitchen, and only so many treats I can make at once. 😅

So if you've got an event coming up, reach out early! The more time we have, the more flexibility we'll have to make your order work.

Have something in mind? Send us a message here or email [email protected] and let's talk! 🐾💙

POV: You ordered 60 pounds of duck hearts for your small-batch pet treat business. 🦆❤️

First, there’s the 20-pound bag.

Then you remember there are another 40 pounds sitting in the bus tub.

Then you look at the cutting board and realize this has officially become a crime scene.

At the end you open the dehydrator...

**18 trays.**

Each tray holds roughly 70–90 hearts.

So somewhere in that dehydrator are **well over 1,000 individual duck hearts.**

This is what “small batch” looks like at Bow-Nut Bites. 😂

No fancy factory. No conveyor belt. Just me, a knife, a dehydrator, and enough duck hearts to make anyone walking into the kitchen question what exactly is going on in this crime scene.

Fortunately, the only thing being murdered here is my Saturday night.

The end result is one of our most popular single-ingredient treats: Duck Hearts. 🐾❤️

**No ducks were spared in the making of this video.**

🎃 WE’RE SORRY. IT’S PUMPKIN SPICE SEASON. 🎃

We promised ourselves we wouldn’t become those people.

We weren’t going to start talking about fall in August. We weren’t going to put pumpkin spice in everything. We were going to exercise some restraint.

And then September happened.

So... here we are. 😂

Pup-kin Spice Biscuits are BACK for the fall! 🐾🍂

Made with a simple lineup of ingredients:

🌾 Oat Flour – A wholesome source of carbohydrates and fiber.
🎃 Pumpkin Puree – Naturally provides fiber and is packed with beneficial nutrients.
🥛 0% Fat Greek Yogurt – Adds protein and calcium without added fat.
🥚 Eggs – A great source of protein and essential nutrients.
🫚 Ginger – Adds a little natural flavor and contains antioxidants.
✨ Cinnamon – A flavorful source of antioxidants in a tiny amount appropriate for these treats.

No artificial flavors. No unnecessary extras. Just real ingredients baked into a crunchy little fall treat.

And no, we did not put pumpkin spice in literally everything.

Just the dog biscuits. We still have some dignity. 😂🎃

Pup-kin Spice is available now for a limited fall run! 🐶🍂

Still can't quite believe I did this. 😂📺

This morning I got the opportunity to represent Bow-Nut Bites on PHL17 Morning News to help promote the upcoming Fishtown Fair and the awesome local vendors taking part.

I'll be honest, being on camera is VERY outside my comfort zone, but when an opportunity comes along to talk about something I've worked so hard to build, I'm not going to say no. So I showed up, tried not to completely forget how words work, and somehow made it through live television. 😂

We're really excited to be part of the Fishtown Fair this Sunday. The organizer's events are always dog-friendly, and with Fishtown being packed with pet lovers, it's a pretty perfect fit for Bow-Nut Bites. 🐾

Huge thanks to the Fishtown Fair team and PHL17 for giving this little Philly business a few minutes in the spotlight!

Reel attempt 2 hopefully this time the whole video is added.
