🌈🌈🌈 RAINBOW PAW UPDATE - MAX 12 🌈🌈🌈

Today our hearts are broken; little Max has left us. Such a special little one, Max will be so missed. Sadly, as is always so true, forever was just out of reach for this precious boy. As he crosses we hope he we once again run and feel the wind through his ears. You will be so missed little one; fly free.

As is tradition in rescue, DRBC will darken it's page today in memory of Max and the phenomenal gifts of love he brought. Godspeed Max; know you went with so much love.

💔💔💔 RED PAW ALERT - PIPER 💔💔💔

Please say hello to Piper. Adorable, right? We think so. [She knows so]. Piper is very sweet and energetic and should be in a new home being loved, but her previous owners neglected to spay her and that has led to two big problems: a mass on her chest and one on her mammary gland. We worry constantly that the masses are malignant. This can be a death sentence if not addressed ASAP.

We reached out to our favorite surgeon at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital, Dr Jill Sammarco and want to put Piper on the surgical schedule, but the cost stands in our way. Almost $6,500. Before you fall over, this addresses both masses and any other questionable lumps in one surgery. It will cover the mass on her chest, a single chain mastectomy and a spay. Of course there is hospitalization, pre-op x-rays, biopsies and lab work. The best news is that Piper has an excellent prognosis and will go on to have a great quality of life. It all begins with outstanding medical care and that all begins with your support.

What do we do now? A pre-op medical protocol is in place and we are keeping a tight eye on Piper for signs of declining health, but your help is desperately needed today. We have hope, but remember, nothing is free to the rescue and leaves its mark and its cost. Without support from kindhearted people like you Piper stands no chance of recovery, never mind have a quality or live a pain free life. Please consider her and make a difference today.
