Fresno is a thoughtful little guy who likes to take his time sizing up a situation before jumping in. Once he feels comfortable, his loyal and affectionate nature shines. He adores his people, his brother, cozy naps, and mealtime—especially when it’s followed by snuggles.
Fresno is currently in a foster home where he’s getting used to life with kids (and loving it!) and learning that big dogs aren’t so scary after all. He’s growing more confident every day and is already showing signs of being a smart and adaptable pup.

Re-introducing Syra! 😍

Syra joined our rescue a couple of weeks ago when her family could no longer care for her, but luckily, one of our amazing foster homes was able to step in and give her a safe place to land. At just 10.5 months old, this pittie mix is still a young pup with plenty of energy, love, and tail wags to share!

🐾 Syra loves everyone she meets! She has yet to meet a stranger.
🐾 Syra has lived with kids before and did well with them, making her a great family companion.
🐾 Syra is dog-friendly and enjoys being around other playful, friendly dogs. That said, she’d also be perfectly happy being your one and only.

In the few weeks she has been with Harley's Haven, she has won the heart of her foster family. Her foster mom has nothing but amazing things to say about her:

It was love at first sight when we saw this beautiful girl at ACCT Philly.

Even though she was frozen in fear, there was something about Jayden that pulled at us—a quiet, aching kind of sadness that said she needed someone to fight for her.

Jayden came to us from ACCT after being surrendered with multiple other dogs for “too many pets,” and she was, without question, one of the most terrified dogs we have ever seen. She wouldn’t move. Wouldn’t walk. She was too afraid to even exist in the world around her. We don’t know what she went through in her life, but whatever it was, it left her utterly broken.

Jayden is an extremely shy and sensitive soul. She is afraid of people, and almost everything in this great big world, but with dogs, she lights up just a little. She seeks comfort in them, follows their lead, and begins to believe that maybe things are going to be okay. Her foster mom is working patiently to help her build confidence, and they have built a bond where Jayden will now follow her foster mom, sit next to her, and even jump up for pets sometimes. Jayden is a sweet, sweet girl who needs to build trust and learn she can count on you before she lets herself open up, but that’s who she is and that is ok♥️

Jayden will need a home that is quiet, calm, and full of grace. She must go to a home with another friendly, confident dog and a tall, secure physical fence, as she is a huge flight risk. She cannot live with young children, as their energy and unpredictability will terrify her. A household with older teens who understand her boundaries may be okay. Most importantly, Jayden needs an experienced and patient owner—someone familiar with extremely fearful dogs who is willing to commit to her healing with no timeline, no pressure, and no expectations.

Jayden won’t be your walking buddy next week or your snuggle companion the week you take her home, but she will get there and be the best dog you could ever ask for. She has so much love inside of her, waiting for the right person to help her find it.

If you’ve ever loved an underdog… if you know the joy of earning trust slowly… if you’re the kind of person who shows up, again and again, no matter how hard it gets—Jayden is waiting for you.

She is so worth it♥️

Remember little Cobra from last summer? He came for a visit this past week to Pennridge Animal Hospital and he is all grown up! His family says he is an absolute perfect pup! Everyone was surprised how much he’s grown! We are glad to see how much his family adores him- such a happy ending

Meet Shiloh, the sweetest stage 5 clinger you’ll ever meet!

When we first saw Shiloh’s photo—curled up and shaking in a crate—our hearts absolutely shattered.

He had been surrendered to ACCT with several other dogs due to having too many pets in the home at a time when the shelter was beyond full to capacity.

That face, that scared little body, we couldn’t look away—and once we found out one of his housemates (Jayden, coming soon!) was still there, we made sure she’d be safe too.

But let’s talk about Shiloh♥️

This one-year-old baby angel is pure love. He’s the definition of a velcro dog—he wants to be near you, touching you, leaning on you, pulling your hand back onto him if you stop petting for even a second.

He’s goofy, clumsy, soft as a cloud, and may just have a little air in that noggin of his—but that only makes him more endearing.

Shiloh is:

✔️ Great with other dogs (seriously, a dog social butterfly!)
