Reactivity is a confusing term because it is so wide-reaching.

Puppyhood is the scariest time of a dog's life. You are in charge of this tiny life and so desperately want to do everything "right".

The American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior's studies have found that behavioral issues run a higher lifelong risk of rehoming and euthanasia than illness from attending a healthy, well-run puppy class or doing managed exposure to your life out of the home.

This is why I run AKC Puppy STAR at Barkpark West Philly where sanitization of their all-turf yard allows class to be safely open to all puppies who have had at least one set of vaccines.

Lots of dogs get their CGC to polish their skills and prove their hard work, but others get it on their way to a career!

Therapy dogs, Animal models, and even Actors benefit from a CGC certification- though some careers that benefit from the skills, like Service dogs, do not require it!

Make way for our newest CANINE GOOD CITIZEN- CHICHI the pomeranian!!!

He worked from the ground up, learning Sit, Down, and Stay in class with us! Now his even temprement and willingness to put up with bad weather have taken those well earned skills to the bank!

So proud of this team!

I know the best is yet to come with his Modeling career, but don't forget us when you make it big Chi!!
