Barley is a 2 year old geldings he has almost 6 months professional training. Solid start on flag and Cattle. Extremely pleasant to be around. Very athletic good cow sense easy minded horse and lots of try. On track to be shown also incentivized to the Levelland horse sale futurity. Located in Stephenville Tx

C**t Starting & 2-Year-Old Program

I’m now taking outside horses as I step fully into Western Crowns full time.

My program is focused on:
• 2-year-olds started correctly from day one
• C**ts not aimed at futurities (ranch, rope, sale prospects)
• Older horses needing a solid, correct start

Also accepting a limited number of:
• Tune-ups
• Problem-solving
• Performance horses (cow horse / rope horse foundation)

My goal is simple:
Build a horse that’s broke, confident, and usable—not just “ridden.”

This isn’t a numbers program. I keep it small so each horse gets consistent, hands-on work.

𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗽 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 is excited to be starting this next chapter and opening our doors to outside horses.

As a husband-and-wife team building our own program, our goal is simple—𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝗿𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘂𝗹. We believe the best horses are built through patience, consistency, and a solid foundation. Every horse that comes through our program is treated as an individual, allowing us to bring out their natural ability while keeping their longevity and well-being a top priority.

Our focus is on creating horses that are not only competitive in the show pen, but also dependable, confident partners that can stand up to the demands of the cowhorse industry. From starting c**ts to continuing seasoned horses, we take pride in doing things the right way and putting our best foot forward every day in the barn.

Congratulations to our friend for his success this past year! As well as to all the growth and fortune to come.

Congratulations to Daryld Pottorff and his horse Kind Little Pistol for winning the year end award for the SRCHA Limited Open Hackamore! Thank you Southwest Reined Cow Horse Association for putting on great shows all year and letting us battle it out for a saddle! 2025 was a great year and we are looking forward to what’s to come.
