This is such a fun event! I can't believe its already been a year. Last year, our oven died during prep for this event and it was total chaos. If I learned anything, it was to prep early, and that's just what I've been doing.

Here's a nice article written about the open house at the Oceana County Animal Shelter on May 2nd. If you're local and love animals, you could truly make a huge difference in the lives of the shelter animals. Volunteering to walk dogs is flexible around your schedule and gives them the chance to get out of their kennels and stretch their energetic wiggle butts!

What a great open house today at Oceana County Animal Shelter! So many community members showed up to show their support and join in the festivities.

At the end of the day, I'm excited to announce that Hound and Heeler Treat Co. was able to donate $232 to the shelter through L.A.S.S.I.! Thank you to everyone who purchased dog treats, donated items to the shelter, inquired about volunteering, or came to see the sweet pups waiting to find their furever homes.
