A day early, today is Valentine’s Day with my daughter and my son-in-law. We’re planning a feast this evening, and this cake will be divine with a cup of coffee from the percolator. I prefer white on white cake as a general rule but, not on Valentine’s Day. This is a chocolate sour cream, double layer, cake with chocolate buttercream and piped with royal icing roses.
Onto cleaning up this mess and onto the next.  What’s for dinner? Lasagna—with my homemade lasagna noodles. I can practically smell it now. ❤️ Oh! And thanks goes out to my friend Sharon for gifting me last week with mini heart cake/pie tins. The twin hearts look like a beautiful friendship to me. 🥂 Cheers!
