Looking for fun pup classes? Check it out. Registration link is below. Signing up registers you for the entire 5 weeks of class. Classes are $125.00 for entire 5 weeks. Once you sign up, a welcome letter will be sent to you closer to course start date. Many of you have been waiting on Canine Good Citizen Community Course - I have one coming up May 15 start date. Come June, I will do a Canine Good Citizen Urban and Therapy Dog International Prep Course. :)

New Indoor Facility coming May 1. We are very excited! If you would like to have private sessions, please reach out to me. I will be doing privates starting out on Wednesdays. If I have high demand for more, I will add Fridays.

Clients and Upcoming Clients: Please read!

I hope all of you are doing well. As you know, it has been extremely challenging lately to train outside due to the wind and the cool air. However, do not fear, I have found a solution for this! I am working on signing lease paperwork the next week or so for indoor space.

This will be MUCH better than training outside. I cannot unfortunately get into space until May 1. The space is right downtown of Pella. It is easy to find and has plenty of parking. Yay!

Therefore, what I would like to do is postpone classes until May 11. I would like to move classes to a Sunday, instead of a Tuesday night. I do understand if this does not work for you, I will 100% refund you (for those that are already in class). This is the schedule I am looking at: (If you are signed up with me already, you do not need to sign up. I will move you over manually to the class).

May 11 - June 8
Basic Obedience - 2PM to 2:45PM
Advanced Obedience - 3PM to 3:45PM
Canine Good Citizen - 4PM - 4:45PM

**For those of you that are signed up for the start date of April 27, we are pushing that back to May 11 and I will combine with the few that have signed up for the start date of April 27** Reach out to me with questions.

I always thought training in the park would be fun, but not in April and possibly not in May. I was not expecting the wind to be as bad as it has been. So I do apologize sincerely. However, I want to make this right for all of you and bring a good experience (as it should be). Again, please let me know if this does not work for you - I am happy to refund your money, and we can try again another time. If it does work for you, please just send me a quick little message, saying "I am good to go". Once I get the full roster of individuals that are ok with the change, I will send out new information. Again, I think the change will be the best way for everyone to get the full training experience and be able to move their dog forward successfully on obedience and skill. Again, I do appreciate the flexibility.

The good thing is that I will have indoor space, and we will not have to worry about the temperature, wind, rain, snow, whatever Iowa throws at us! Ha. Happy Easter everyone. Thank you for supporting me in my love for training canines.

Once again, Iowa weather has a mind of its own (Sigh). I am going to cancel outdoor classes today due to the wind. I was outside today for 30 minutes with students and we were all miserable. The sun is shinning, but it is so windy. I want to sincerely apologize for this, as I didn't realize we would be with so many windy days in April - lesson learned on my part! HA! Please reach out to me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments. We will pick back up next week. I am going to look for indoor space for us next week - that way we can hopefully mitigate this issue of weather interruptions. Thank you in advance! I will be sending out videos (they will also be in the google classroom) on skills that I want you to try. We WILL go over them next week as well. Clients,

Due to the water line break and no access to water/bathrooms at the Caldwell, weather a bit chilly and windy - I have made the courageous decision to postpone classes until next week.

I am hoping that the weather will be better by then. It has been really windy lately. You just never know what kind of Spring you will have in Iowa. Ha!

I got out and tried working my dogs to see if it would go ok, but it is so windy and chilly - I am afraid you would have trouble hearing me.

We will shoot for next week and see how it goes. Thank you for your flexibility and I hope that all of you have a great rest of your day! Reach out to me if you have any questions.

Last chance to get signed up for upcoming classes. I have spots still open for basic, canine good citizen, and ultimate stay challenge course.

If these courses do not work for you, I will be starting more classes after Tulip Time - 2nd week in May. The sign up for these courses will be posted next week.

Summer is coming, so I am booking out Therapy dog times.

Right now I am looking for two pups that have passed Basic obedience, Canine Good Citizen, and advanced obedience to join me and Sheba to visit small children. Welcome Letters via email went out today if you signed up for class starting April 1. I have several spots still open if you are interested. Basic Obedience Course is full (I will do another one come May - Open for registration starting April.). Canine Good Citizen has couple spots left, and ultimate challenge has several spots left. I am looking forward to launching "Train in the Park" with Britt throughout the summer and fall.

If you are curious about the course curriculums, please reach out to me. I am happy to go further into details on what I will be teaching in the course.

Thank you for all of the support, kindness, and love I am getting from the Pella Community. I am glad that I can continue to serve the needs of Pella and the surrounding areas with positive reinforcement dog training.
