Sorry for the delay in posts, it’s been a hectic week!

Every afternoon I worry that the bees are upset. Then I remember they’re doing orientation flights!

We love this girl so much ❤️ She is our 11 year old sulcata tortoise. She has gotten so much bigger since we got her. I’d say she’s gained at least 10 pounds!

Hopscotch is a little shy 😅 But Cinnabun sure isn’t. She will kick so hard oooof it hurts! That’s only when she’s scared, yesterday she came up to me and laid down so I could pet under her ears 😍

I got a little carried away taking videos of the garden. These are mostly baby plants, and I can’t wait to get them in the ground next spring.

Ember loves when we take him to Michelle McNeill’s house for play dates with Sunny, his brother (or sister. We don’t know 😅)

I got tired of spending $80 for h**p bedding all the time 😅
I try my best to use dye free boxes, I do keep a special stash of straight up cardboard for more sensitive animals and for the compost.

Yellow garden spiders only live a season. They’re born in the spring, they gorge themselves on insects for 4-6 months, then they breed & lay their egg sacs (females specifically). They stay on the web into the fall and defend the egg sac. Unfortunately, this spider only made it to August 😔 I believe she became victim to the ducks, as she built her web in their run. Either way, I’ll keep the babies safe 😇

I recently discovered my bee gloves are touch screen comparable- expect incoming bee content 😅
