2nd UPDATE: With the orders coming in, we are FULLY STOCKED AGAIN! Thank you from the BOTTOM of our hearts for this - it's like Christmas for US!
UPDATE: You guys are AMAZING. Our animal control officers are also 'wishing' for some tie outs to aid in their efforts to keep animals home and out of the shelter. We've added them to the list! THANK YOU!
GUYS - WE NEED FOOD. HELP.
We are in need of canned puppy food. We have had a ton of puppies come through the last few weeks, we are down to our last few cans. When puppies come in, they are often fragile, underweight, and have no interest in dry hard kibble. Wet food literally saves their life.
If anyone would like donate us some, we would greatly appreciate it, and so would our puppies at the shelter. We are NOT picky about brand - even if you've got some old ones at your house you're not using that your pet doesn't like, bring them down. Otherwise, for example, we use Amazon Basics brand, Pedigree, etc.
If you can't make it to our shelter in person, here is our Wishlist - we've added several affordable options on there (approximately $15) for anyone who can help: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1NTSLBDS7M9V0?ref_=wl_share
The Rankin County Animal Shelter is a high intake animal control & sheltering facility located at 710 Marquette Road in Brandon, MS. Donations can be dropped off between 7:30am-4:00pm Monday-Friday & 8:00am-12:30pm on Saturday. We will happily bring you out a puppy to snuggle in exchange for a donation!
