Just want to offer a shout out to our new friends High Desert Geckos Exotic Pets & Supplies selling at the Wasatch Reptile Expo this weekend.

I always buy a shirt it seems when we see them, but this time Shaunalie bought a Mossy Frog and we talked for a bit about our Expo we’re planning to start in 2027.

They’re out of Oregon but can ship, and we love what they offer.

Actually, just about everyone at Wasatch Reptile Expo are awesome. That’s why we love the show. We also chatted with Gambit Geckos about some axanthic cresties and to Wasatch Feeder Insects out of Eagle Mountain, UT - www.wasatchfeederinsects.com and of course Fireball Pythons.

We’re hoping to connect with SolidSerpents in person today, and talked to Britt’s.biome and bought some of her massive wood collection. We cleaned her out of wood and springtails and plants last time. Help her clear the wood so her husband agrees it was a good move! 😆

I’m sharing several pictures from the show yesterday and I’m including a shot of incredible leopard cats. I soooooo want one, or some. But fuzzy is not our specialty in the name “Creatures”… for now…)

So, yeah. Get home from an expo. Just as we’re finishing setting up two new ball
Pythons and a Mossy Frog, a thing happened!!!

Two more Flying gecko eggs laid.

Also throwing in a picture of one of the Furcifer Petteri (Petters) because he was SOOOOO dark green right now.

Well… IPMA Creatures is now a ball python breeder thanks to Fireball Pythons and their very convincing ambassador snake.

The male is an albino lavender + cinnamon gene and the female is an albino lavender. (We were told the genes are ill favored for problems if they were both cinnamons.)

This will be a REALLY big and new experience for us and we’re only going to have these two and breed only them for a couple years to get some experience. We anticipate doing more with snakes, particularly ball pythons, but… we shall see what we learn.

Very excited.

(Also got a single mossy frog, but the expo is only half over…)

Three captive bred Furcifer Antimena males (they look like “tiny dragons” and have what our granddaughters call “pickle noses”. Plus two Furcifer Petteri (Petters) wild caught males. These have dual rostril appendages and a LOT of color. All five from Unz-arium.

Then one wild caught male and three captive bred female Petteri from Kevin Stanford Chameleons.

Hard to get them to stay in the open for photos but here’s a few to show their features.

It is time to introduce the two new species we adopted from Unz-arium and Kevin Stanford Chameleons this month.

These little guys are amazing in shapes, colors and character. We are very much enamored even more after we received them than when we decided to take on Antimena during a Chameleon Academy-Bill Strand podcast a couple/few weeks ago. We’re very hopeful to be part of developing the species in the U.S. and to help preserve them with natural lines.

There’s a little problem though—they’re all very camera shy. So, you get what you get here.

The Furcifer Petteri (Petters) are first up with brilliant greens and a red cap. The males have two rostril appendages that are super peculiar. All three males are wild caught. Two have longer appendages and one is much more stubby and short. The females do not have these appendages but they do have the really prominent belly stripes. Our females are all captive bred. These greenies are beautiful from every angle.

Secondly, the Furcifer Antimena present less brilliant color. But the males also have a rostril appendage (singular) that our granddaughters have taken to calling this species “pickle noses”. They’re pretty hard to get good photos because they don’t trust us much yet, but you can see the “spines” along the back that make us think of Bill Strand’s book title “Tiny Dragons”. So cool! We have only three captive bred males at this time (from Nicholas) but hoping to participate in some imports soon!

Our first adventure: one of the female Petters has already laid infertile eggs.

We’re working on building the shelving and display to put all nine into their permanent habitats in the next couple weeks and to plan on at least three more female Antimena.

We also have an agreement with Nicholas to provide him some babies in the future and we’re very excited for that too. Hoping we can work with him and others to build a good, diversified gene pool here.

Well…trying out DTF transfers to see what we think on clothing line offerings. Very first one I scorched the front logo area a little holding iron still too long. ☺️

But we sure love our partner Melanie’s art!
