Kitten Update! Tomorrow, the kittens will reach the one week mark! They are growing stronger, eating well, and beginning to open their eyes. I’m thankful to the Lord for his protection over these little ones and am enjoying every moment with them!

I could watch these little ones all day, and that's what I've been doing. I'm still doing round-the-clock feedings and giving subcutaneous fluids to keep them hydrated. I'm definitely exhausted, but there's nothing I wouldn't do for them.

This makes my heart so happy! While I still think Sia isn't producing enough milk, the kittens are nursing and doing their best. I tried extending the time between feedings last night, and one of them lost a little weight, so I'm continuing to supplement. They all seem hungry and eagerly drink the formula from the syringe. I feel like we’re making progress, and Sia is showing more interest in her mama duties. I'm grateful for the strength the Lord has given me to tackle this challenge.

I wanted to share a little update on Sia. She has been doing wonderfully and is allowing the kittens to nurse, which brings me so much joy. Although her milk supply is low, they are at least receiving some colostrum. I've still been providing around the clock bottle feeding to ensure they are getting enough nourishment and that their bellies are full. I'm thrilled to report that all the kittens gained weight this morning and are thriving so far. We plan to try a small dose of oxytocin to see if it helps boost Sia's milk supply. Thank you all for your thoughtful messages and for checking in on me and the kittens. I truly appreciate it!

My sweet Sia is struggling to nurse her kittens. She isn't producing much milk and seems disinterested. After a vet visit for fluids and blood work, I've been bottle-feeding the kittens and trying to help them latch onto Sia when she allows it. Sadly, one kitten had a severe cleft palate, and I had to make the difficult decision to let him go. Please keep these little ones in your prayers as I navigate feedings. I'm feeling exhausted!

Sia began her labor around 2 AM this morning and welcomed seven beautiful babies into the world. I am immensely grateful to the Lord for a safe delivery. From what I can tell, we have four boys and three girls, but I will double check their genders after I catch a few hours of rest.
