All puppies will be vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated and AKC registered. I litter train and they get a ton of socialization with kids and adults. Parents have AKC papers, clear genetic & health tests, and have been health checks by their vet.

Hey silver lovers I have a sweet boy that needs some help. Meet Jasper a fun loving 2yr old, neutered male silver, from my second litter. Jasper needs to be rehomed due to his family no longer being able to keep him.

He enjoys walks, jogs, & hikes. He does very well off leash. Swimming and retrieving are his favorite. He loves to play chase with the dog next door. And he still likes to play tug of war. He tolerates the boat, but is sometimes hesitant to get aboard initially. We’ve taken him to parks, beaches, etc.

🌈Merry Christmas all from our family to yours! It is with great sadness and heartache that we share the news of the loss of our amazing baby boy Toni. We fought hard for the last 2 months but in the end he was in so much pain we had to make the best decision for him. So last night in our home with his love ones we gathered around the fire in his bed, with his favorite blanket and toy that he has slept with since he was 6 weeks old and crossed him over the rainbow bridge. I held him in my arms with his head in my hands until he drifted away. I can not empress how important in is to do this impossible task at home in their favorite place with their favorite people.

I do not know how I will ever heal or if this pain will ever go away but the one thing I know is we tried everything. He lived a great life, knew love, the warmth of a family. Cherish every single moment you have with them because you never know what can happen.

We love you Sir Antonio Michael aka Toni the Tiger you will forever be in our hearts 💙

💔Thank you for everyone that reached out we are heart broken right now so I’m sorry if I haven’t responded. This may be the hardest thing I have ever had to write but here goes

On Oct 25 we took Toni to the vet bc him and Mason I have been fighting with each other regardless of all of our training and efforts. They got into an altercation which ended up cutting Toni‘s ear so we took him in to get it stitched up and they offered to neuter him the next day. Mike and I decided that was the best course of action to allow him and Mason to have the best possible life without injuries. So on October 26 we took Toni in to get neutered and they ran his blood and urine test and the results came back with severely high elevated kidney levels. They cannot perform a surgery due to the anesthesia being rough on the kidneys. We brought him home and put him on a high dose of antibiotic.

On Friday, November 5 we took him in for his follow up treatment to get his levels checked again but he had already shown signs of the kidney issue progressing. He stopped eating his food and would only eat small amounts of homemade food here and there but nothing substantial enough to give him the proper nutrition. We associate it with Paxton being in heat as male dogs tend to be more interested in that than food during certain times of the heat cycle. The vet notice he was extremely lethargic and wasn’t acting himself so she immediately ran more testing which showed the levels increase significantly which is completely opposite of what should’ve happened with the antibiotic. At that point the vet believed it was no longer an infection versus a disease causing kidney failure. She had us go over to the vet ER immediately where they admitted Toni and started running test on him. We have had daily check-in‘s where we’ve gone over the retesting of the levels and his behavior. He is eating but nowhere close to what he needs to sustain and he will not eat the kidney prescription dog food so therefore he’s getting other foods that are not good for his kidneys due to the high fat content in typical dog food. This morning they did the sonogram after three days of IV treatment and antibiotics since the levels were not decreasing as rapidly as they wanted them to. It showed that he has severe kidney damage and they are failing. At this point in time the only option is to make him as comfortable and happy as possible until the time comes that his kidneys completely fail and he stops eating.

For most of you, you’ve already had your dog spayed and neutered so they would’ve already detected if your dog had anything like this. This is not a genetic disease Mason and Mia do not have this. They are attributing it to Toni being the runt and they believe that he had this at birth. Unfortunately until they go for any kind of anesthesia these test aren’t ran until that point so this is why us wasn’t detected until now. The vet has no clue how long Toni has to live because at some point in time his kidneys will fail and he will stop eating. I have reached out to get second opinions and unfortunately other vets after seeing his test results I’ve concluded the same thing. There may be a possibility of dialysis but that will not repair his kidneys it will just prolong the inevitable. Once we see how he does when he is back at home versus IV therapy as far as nutrition and eating we can then make some decisions on what to do to give him the best quality of life while this horrible disease eats away at his kidneys.

Please hug and kiss all of yours pups for me and Mike. This is so unfair we are responsible breeding and care for our dogs better than we do ourselves. The nutrition and diet regimens we have them on is extremely healthy and why the vet believes he hasn’t shown any signs until now. Please pray for our amazing sweet angel because we are devastated.
