Even with the cold weather, the sun showing its face has made all the difference 🌞 my girls are getting back to production after winter hiatus and some pullets from last summer laying their first eggs are giving me awesome greens and speckles 🥚

We aren’t exclusively in the business of poultry! I’ve been keeping and breeding lineolated parakeets for 4 years. These little birds are considered “hidden gems” of aviculture because they are not readily available, but they are intelligent, beautiful, curious, and make excellent pets.

I have 4 babies in the nest now that will be looking for families to love them in June 🩵

Hand foraged and homemade violet syrup available this morning- $5 per jar.

This light, floral syrup is rich in vitamin C and is a great topper for nearly anything. My favorite is using it to top pancakes, but you can use it on ice cream, yogurt, smoothies, toast…almost anything!

It’s excellent for sweetening lemonades, teas, and mixed drinks.
