Meet the trainer! I will be at the Franktown Animal Clinic for their open house this Saturday from 2 to 5. Come on down and say hi. (They ask that you please not bring your pet with for this event.)

Join us for an open house from 2 to 5 PM to explore vendors, watch demonstrations, play games, and more. Plus, we’ll be accepting donations for blankets, comforters, towels, and unopened dog and cat food.

I have some of the best clients. They have a dog that is missing two legs and a paw of a third. She gets along super well and plays with her brother a lot but she can’t keep up with him on walks. I suggested a wagon and they got one.
She does pretty well but likes to jump out so we are going to clip her in and just give her breaks out of it.
I love it when people go the extra mile.

This is Koa. At our first lesson she was pretty nervous around me. Now she follows me and even nudges for pets.
Her people have done an amazing job with her. She sits and lays down. Now she’s learning Place and stay to help with barking at the door. 💕

These two look adorable, right?
Teddy (black) is a little older and not a fan of other dogs.
Lily (Brown) was/is a very energetic puppy.
When Lily moved in Teddy was not happy. There was some strong feelings and a few teeth involved.
For 8 months their people would rotate one dog downstairs and one upstairs, or Teddy would have to wear a muzzle.
This wasn’t sustainable and Teddy still had strong feelings.
After 4 lessons and lots of work by the humans we got this!
I almost cried. This is the absolute best out come. I am so happy for everyone.
We taught Lily some manners and boundaries especially with Teddy and we worked with Teddy to not be as grumpy with his sister.
I love what I do.

I met Duke the Great Dane tonight. I didn’t get pictures but he and his brother are totally sweethearts.
The amount of slobber is a different story. Lol
Sierra won’t stop sniffing me.

Sierra and Moose had a play date. It is so important that puppies get socialized with other dogs.
Sierra is selective about who she plays with but she seems to like puppies.

One of my other favorite feeders is the Kong. Most pet owner’s know about the Kong but the key to making it last longer is to freeze it.

My go to is kibble mixed with 100% canned pumpkin then freeze. It’s a great way to feed your pup daily. You can put anything in it that is safe for dogs that your dog will love.

Pick one that is the right size. Most people chose one too small. They think about the dog carrying it in their mouth vs the size of the whole to get the food out of it.

Hate not being able to get the last bit out of the bottom? Use a bottle cleaner. It works great.
