☀️🐶 Summer is here, and DogTown Kennels wants your pups to stay safe in the sunshine! 🐶☀️
Here are a few quick tips to help keep those tails wagging all season long:
🐾 Avoid hot pavement – If it’s too hot for your bare feet, it’s too hot for theirs!
🐾 Hydration is key – Always have fresh water available, especially on walks or outdoor adventures.
🐾 Limit midday play – Plan exercise for early morning or evening to avoid peak heat.
🐾 Provide shade – Whether it’s a tree, umbrella, or covered porch, make sure your pup has a cool place to relax.
🐾 Never leave your dog in the car – Even for a minute. Temps rise fast and can be deadly.
🐾 Watch for signs of heat exhaustion – Heavy panting, drooling, weakness, or vomiting? Time to cool down immediately.
