As a collage artist, I find beauty in simple scraps, vintage, found objects and other “borrowed” imagery that I collect. I then compose with these items, full of stories and meaning from their “past lives”, orchestrating a new order by joining these discarded bits and pieces into a new purpose and perspective. The nature of collage-making is very sensory and I enjoy creating pieces that encourages

intimacy and interaction from the viewer or wearer. May materials and intuition be my guide... as often I begin with one image or material, allowing that to lead me to the next... continuing to add, subtract and arrange... a new story is born. While I will always pine for the fall leaves of my native hills of Pennsylvania, I currently call sunny Palm Beach Gardens, Florida my home, sharing life and love with my supportive husband, two spirited daughters and loyal dog.

General information

Besides collage art for your wall, I create collage jewelry and accessories, incorporating these found papers from their original sources into my pieces, so each is one-of-a-kind--a true original! Each collage is inlayed in various metal forms and preserved under glass or resin. Often I incorporate text and phrases to compliment the imagery I use, sometimes simple, but more often witty, ironic and thought-provoking. Beyond some boutiques which carry my work, I frequently show my work at several indie shows during the year which much success. My retail prices range from $6-48.
