Hydrogen peroxide is a disinfectant that can help eliminate bacteria, viruses, and fungi.
It's generally considered safer than bleach for use around animals, but it's still important to use it properly.

Disinfection:
Hydrogen peroxide is a good disinfectant, especially at concentrations of 3% or higher, to damage the cell membranes of bacteria and other microorganisms.

𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭, 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐚:
Coccidia are parasitic protozoa that infect the gastrointestinal tracts of animals, including cats, dogs, and poultry. Hydrogen peroxide is a disinfectant that can kill various microorganisms, including coccidia.
Studies have shown that hydrogen peroxide at a concentration of 3% can effectively kill coccidia oocysts (eggs). To use hydrogen peroxide effectively against coccidia.

𝐀𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭, 𝐏𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐚; the bacteria that causes pasteurellosis. Studies have shown that 3% hydrogen peroxide can inhibit the growth and viability of P. multocida.
Elaboration:
Mechanism:
Hydrogen peroxide works by oxidizing bacterial cells, damaging their lipids, DNA, and other essential components, ultimately leading to bacterial inactivation.

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐯𝐚𝐥:
It can help break down stains on some surfaces, making them easier to clean.

𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐭𝐨𝐱𝐢𝐜 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐮𝐞: So good to use with bunnies.
Unlike some other cleaners, hydrogen peroxide breaks down into water and oxygen, leaving behind no harmful residue.
