It's crazy how fast time flys. One minute your helping to deliver the foals and the next they are being sold as a yearling. This is Westgate Farms first time having babies sold. It's bitter sweet because of all the love and energy that goes into these amazing animals and then have to watch them leave the farm. We don't have the connections to have the sales company come out and select yearlings yet, maybe next year. So we just entered the 4 we are selling on Prefered Equine Online this weekend. Well, it's been a min since I made a post. A lot going happening on the farm. Our foaling season has come to an end. Final count was 8 c**ts 4 fillies. 12 of 12 successfully born. That always makes for a good year. With ups comes downs, we are very sad to say we lost two mommas this year. As anyone in this business knows that is never easy, especially when you put your heart and soul into these amazing animals. I am posting some pics of the last few babies born. Last few born
