We're excited to share that we have partnered with Tradition Production Group on a future project that will help tell those stories and shine a light on the life-changing impact Service Dogs have on Veterans and First Responders.

While we can't share all the details just yet, we can tell you that we're incredibly blessed to be working alongside a team that shares our passion for serving those who have sacrificed so much.

Not every day a future Service Dog gets the opportunity to spend time around a horse.

One of the biggest parts of Service Dog training is exposure. We can't predict every situation our dogs will encounter in the future, but we can help prepare them to remain calm, confident, and focused when faced with something new.

Tully continues to impress us with her composure and willingness to take on new experiences. Every new environment, sound, smell, and interaction helps build the foundation needed to become a successful Service Dog.

A huge thank you to our amazing trainers and supporters who help create these opportunities for our dogs. Their dedication is helping us prepare the next generation of Service Dogs for Veterans and First Responders.

Meet Travis Lloyd, another one of our incredible board members.

Travis is professional dog trainer with certifications both in pet and working dog training from some of the world’s most respected dog training schools. A lifelong student of canine behavior and modern training, he has completed advanced studies in canine cognition and emotion as well as animal health, and welfare.

Before becoming a professional dog trainer, Travis worked for the US Embassy and later as a government contractor in Afghanistan, where his passion for working dogs first began.

As a board member of K9 Heroes 4 Heroes, Travis is most passionate about serving those who served, helping provide highly trained service dogs to veterans and first responders and supporting them on their journey toward greater independence and quality of life.

Let's start the week with Olive's enthusiasm!

Training a future Service Dog should be fun, rewarding, and engaging for both the dog and the trainer. While obedience is important, these dogs are learning skills that will one day help a Veteran or First Responder regain confidence, independence, and peace of mind.

Did you know? Research has shown that Veterans and First Responders with PTSD who are partnered with task-trained Service Dogs experience greater well-being and better sleep quality than those with companion dogs alone.

That's the power of specialized Service Dog training.

Loki made a new friend.

We were honored to attend the Lake County Captains Community Champions Event celebrating the incredible men and women in law enforcement who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe.

Many First Responders face challenges that aren't always visible. Studies have shown they experience significantly higher rates of stress, anxiety, depression, and PTSD due to the nature of their work.

We encourage you to take a moment to thank a Police Officer, Firefighter, EMT, Dispatcher, or any First Responder in your community. Their sacrifice and commitment deserve our gratitude every day.
