We had an amazing time at the Geauga Veterans Sports Fest, hosted by lakes outdoors supply company! 🇺🇸 It’s always a blessing to connect with friends and supporters of our mission — including our good friend "CHOWDAH” from the Veterans Motorcycle Association.

Whether it’s our event or someone else’s, you’ll always find K9 Heroes 4 Heroes showing up for our Veterans and First Responders. We owe them everything.

At K9 Heroes 4 Heroes, our service dogs are trained to be calm, focused, and responsive to their handler’s needs. These dogs aren’t just companions — they’re highly skilled partners with a mission. Neutrality and discipline are critical to their success in supporting veterans and first responders.

Loki and Kilo got some quality time together

Kilo, one of our board member’s dogs, is training to become a Search and Rescue dog. He’s also been working with the awesome team at Ridgeside K9 Ashtabula.

Both Loki and Kilo are working line dogs who know how to handle themselves with confidence and professionalism in all kinds of environments. That kind of structure isn’t just important for working dogs—it’s something every dog benefits from.

Dogs crave structure. It’s up to us to give it to them.

We remember Benghazi

On September 11–12, 2012, four brave Americans—Ambassador Chris Stevens, Sean Smith, Glen Doherty, and Tyrone Woods — gave their lives in a terrorist attack on the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi, Libya.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication to service will never be forgotten. 🙏

New scenario, same Tribute

Our service dog in training continues to shine—calm, focused, and confident in every situation. Thanks to the incredible team at Ridgeside K9 Ashtabula, she’s being exposed to all kinds of environments, including mechanical equipment her future handler may rely on.

This kind of training is essential. Service dogs must remain steady and unshaken, no matter what’s around them.

One of the biggest blessings of our mission is meeting the incredible veterans we serve. 🇺🇸

We’re proud to introduce Waldo Waldman — retired States Air Force combat fighter pilot, motivational speaker, and all-around amazing human.

Loki and I met Waldo at the Wireless Zone, Verizon Authorized Retailer Annual Convention, where he delivered a powerful message that truly moved the room. After his keynote, we had a great one-on-one conversation about our mission at K9 Heroes 4 Heroes and how we might collaborate in the future.
