After last week I noticed that I unintentionally step away from social media when I notice more bad than good. I want to believe this is normal and happens to us all, but it also seems like there are some that thrive in negativity. I saw a comment today that mentioned how monetization has changed social media, and it got me wondering. Is that truly what people believe is needed to get views? Have we gone so backwards in society that negativity pulls in more attention than positivity? Am I the only one drained from it? I’ve been fortunate enough to live a life with minimal drama in it. Heck I prefer the cute/funny/honest videos over anything else. How do y’all have time for drama? We read a caption these days and take 1 sentence out of it and twist it to be negative, or take 1 comment out of 100 and make it seem like everyone is coming for you because of xyz. We rather avoid the tough conversations to satisfy a narrative than try to see eye to eye. But, this is not a call out post… if you feel called out - MESSAGE ME! Let’s talk! Let’s have a conversation about why, so that we can both come to an understanding. I don’t want someone to ever feel like they can’t approach me about something, and if I get defensive… call my ass out. But say it to ME because I am the only one that can improve from that conversation- not your 4000 followers. This post is written with love. Love for this hobby, and love for the breeders who go out in the cold, the hot , the rain, and the snow to continue the lines that have been created over time!
Ok - rant over 😂
