Alexander the Great had armies.
Land.
Wealth.
Power enough to change the map of the world.
Then he met Diogenes.
According to the famous story, Alexander approached the philosopher and offered him anything he wanted.
Diogenes had one request:
Move.
You're blocking my sunlight. ☀️
Think about that.
One man possessed almost everything the world could offer.
The other possessed almost nothing.
Yet Alexander had very little leverage over Diogenes because Diogenes didn't want what Alexander had.
Maybe power isn't only measured by what you possess.
Maybe it's also measured by how little someone else can use to control you.
