I am so so excited to finally be able to make this post. As I was watching Markiplier's Iron lung movie ( AMAZING, IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN IT YOU SHOULD) I was HIT with inspiration. I LOVE the OG design for "the fish/eel" or Elli, ---- SLIGHT SPOILER, SKIP TO NEXT FLAG IF YOU DONT WANNA KNOW---🚩 In the movie, it is revealed that the blood ocean of AT5 is HUMAN blood. "It's us". "We are all one in the blood". 🚩
This was my inspiration. But I decided to expand on the human idea, into animals as well... For we are ALL one, in the Blood.
This mount was considerably difficult in its creation and has taken DAYS to complete. From 6 am to near 6 pm..mounting skulls, crafting teeth and tongue, molding everything into one monstrous amalgamation with almost THREE packs of clay! It is a deer skull, coyote skull cut in half, coyote jaws, a muskrat jaw, all painstakingly molded into one before layers of paint were applied with shaky hands trying to be still. All topped off with two layers of UV resin for that wet look and to protect fragile parts. The board has been coated in UV resin as well, and waves, bubbles added and left so it truly looks like flowing boiling blood. In a dark room of your house it will be a dark almost wine blood color, put it in a sunny area and you'll have a vibrant BLOODY red. I do not know if I will make a other of these. If one was COMMISSIONED, it's a possibility. But at least for now, consider this to be the one and only. I am having this mount done as a sort of AUCTION. Today is just the showcase, tomorrow is the auction. From 6 am to 8 pm ( Central) there will be another post for this item. Those interested will comment their bids, highest bidder at the end of the night wins.
