We have touched base on what "Secret Sarah Sponsorship" is, but I have been lacking on promoting and speaking on it.
The sponsorship program is extremely important to the mission of Brightside in putting the community together and keeping people into horses.
One of the goals is to help set up a "closet" dedicated to helping kids on equestrian teams who may not be able to afford the multiple outfits, help inner city programs get riding clothes for their youth, to help the non profits have a location to assist their young riders that may not be able to afford riding attire or even proper barn clothing.
I have an inventory list of items I want to stash away for these programs. I am looking at storage facilities where I can keep these items. This will allow the students, youth or board members of the programs to come and shop at no cost. There will be vouchers and requirements but we have already started to work with 5 groups. We were able to donate 12 groom kits so far. I have a girl who was recently adopted that is looking to join Eq team, and her coach and I have spoken. Waiting on spreadsheets from 2 others to start pulling from the shelves and pay my consignors their percentage.
It helps my consignors, it helps the community and most importantly helps the kids and horses.
We are trying to help equine therapy programs as well.
Simply put I am asking for everyone to help make this program possible. I can simply not afford to do so on my own- I am waiving any profit and trying to get a decent amount of inventory.
