For a long time, I’ve shared our treats, our dogs, and our love for what we do — but I realized many people don’t truly know who we are or why Ulti-Mutt Bakery exists.

Ulti-Mutt Bakery wasn’t born from a sick dog story. My dogs were healthy — full of life, joy, and love. But I was the one who needed healing.

During one of the hardest chapters of my life, I was searching for a way to feel grounded again… to nurture something good. Baking for my dogs became that outlet — a way to pour love, care, and purpose into something pure.

Before Ulti-Mutt Bakery, I spent years in cancer research with a background in biotechnology and genetics, and I hold several certifications in animal nutrition. I’ve always believed that science and compassion can work hand in hand — that knowledge means little without heart behind it.

What began as a small act of survival grew into a mission: to create purposeful, science-backed treats that help dogs thrive and celebrate the unbreakable bond we share with them.

Every ingredient we use has intention — chosen for how it supports dogs’ health, from shiny coats to calm hearts.
Every batch is made with love — because caring for them helps heal us too.

Ulti-Mutt Bakery is about more than treats.

🎃🍫 Halloween Reminder: Chocolate + Dogs = Scary Combo!

Halloween is full of treats — but for our pups, chocolate is more of a trick! 👻

Accidents happen: a piece drops on the floor, a kid shares candy, or your curious pup sniffs out the good stuff. And sometimes they eat it and seem totally fine. But here’s the spooky truth — just because your dog doesn’t react right away doesn’t mean it didn’t cause harm.

Chocolate contains theobromine and caffeine, and dogs can’t break those down like we can. Even small amounts can quietly damage organs, stress the heart, or cause dangerous symptoms later. The darker the chocolate, the more toxic it is — and for tiny dogs, even a few bites can be life-threatening.

If your dog sneaks any Halloween candy, don’t wait — call your vet or animal poison control right away. If it just happened, you can often give a small amount of plain canned pumpkin or activated charcoal (if your vet has advised it before) to help slow absorption while you’re getting professional help. It’s always better to be safe than spooked. 🐾🧡

Remember- any amount of chocolate consumed causes organ damage
