Pixie accidentally got away from her family Saturday. This is the 1st time she has been out and a her family has been frantically looking for her. Her neighbor believes she saw a green Jeep stop and pick Pixie up. Please call (502) 370-7277 if you know where Pixie is. She needs to get home to her family.

A young man who cares about animals took in a cattahoula mix dog in need of a new home (I don't know the details) then he was in a hit and run motorcycle accident that has left him struggling to take care of her due to being off work, attending multiple physical therapy and doctor visits a week and temporary physical limitations due to his injuries. Pip is 9 months old. She is spayed and up to date on shots, super sweet, housetrained (at least when supervised), crate trained, and has been fine with other dogs. She is not good with poultry. We received a call about an emaciated black dog running around 127 South near Morgador, Loud and Rowdy Fireworks and the Franklin County Line area. The dog was seen chewing on an old deer carcass. Elizabeth has driven around the area with no sightings so we are leaving a trap near the deer carcass. We are requesting that people don't disturb the trap and call 502-750-1673 or text 502-514-1897 if you see the dog in or out of the trap. Also say a little prayer that no surprises like a coyote or skunk await Elizabeth when she checks the trap in the morning. Lol
