Sometimes the biggest impact comes from one small piece of advice.

At PetQuest, GroomTeam USA alum Jonathan David took a moment to offer fellow GTUSA Competitor Erin Flynn a suggestion on her “Poodleton” trim.

Erin had already clipped the throat correctly with the proper blade, but Jonathan saw an opportunity to push the finish just a little further. His suggestion? Try the Joyzze clipper to take just a smidge more coat off the throat and elevate the overall balance of the trim.

It was one detail. One conversation. One groomer sharing knowledge with another.

Then came All American.

Jonathan watched with a smile as Erin took what she had learned into the ring — earning 1st place in Freestyle, 1st in Group, and advancing to Best in Show.

And that is so much bigger than a placement.

Continuing education is part of the mission of GroomTeam USA — and education doesn’t always happen behind a podium or inside a classroom.

Sometimes it happens ringside.

Sometimes it’s one sentence from someone who sees something you don’t.

Sometimes it’s an experienced groomer choosing to share what they know so another groomer can grow.
