Little Haven update ❤️🐾

We’re still chipping away at the electric bill with $480 left to go. ❤️ Every donation, share, purchase and little bit of love sent our way has helped us get this far, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone helping keep the Haven going.

We still have Meraki shirts available, plus some truck/SUV backseat covers for $50 — including some hammock-style covers and cargo liner! Most of these normally cost well over $100, so you can snag a pretty awesome deal while helping the Haven at the same time. 🐾

Our days had finally been settling back into a pretty good little flow around here… rotations moving, getting more time with the dogs, and life feeling a little more like our Haven again. ❤️

Then Mother Nature apparently said, “That looks peaceful. Let me fix that.” 🤣😭

So today I'm cursing my own cramps while several of the Haven girls are still going through heat themselves. We're basically one big hormonal disaster over here. 😂 But everybody's fed, we're still moving, and we're doing what we do — one day at a time. Lots of girls waiting to be spayed, wish I was raising money for that vs keeping electric good.

Thank you for continuing to show up for this crazy little Haven and helping us keep the lights on — literally this time. ❤️🐾

Good morning from the Haven! ☀️🐾

We woke up to another $50 toward our PSO bill, bringing us to $220 raised! ❤️🙏

Our $826.02 electric bill is due TODAY, so we still have $606.02 to go, but every single donation is helping us chip this monster down.

Morning rotations are already underway with the Haven Krew, so we're sending up our PSO SOS 🐾🚨 one more time and hoping a little Village magic finds us today. ❤️

🌙🐾 Wrapping up bedtime rotations at the Haven.

The last groups are getting their outside time, everyone’s settling back into their spaces, blankets are getting situated, and the Haven is slowly shifting from daytime chaos into nighttime chaos… just slightly quieter. 😂❤️

Today actually flowed pretty damn well. Everyone ate, rotations kept moving, and there was time in between all the work for shade under the trees, cuddles, exploring, and just hanging out with the dogs. Those little pieces of normal Haven life are the good stuff. ❤️

Unfortunately, one thing that didn’t move nearly enough today was the electric bill.

We’re wrapping up another full day and we still aren’t even close to halfway covered. 😭 With Oklahoma sitting in the 90s to 100s, keeping this place cool for 35 dogs means ACs, fans, as usual laundry running constantly.

So we’re sending out one more little bat signal to our village tonight. 🦇🐾

Even $5 or $10 gets us a little closer. And if donating isn’t possible, please give us a share — you never know whose feed our crazy little Haven might land on. ❤️
