If you haven't seen my work before, in this video I am applying ink and grout to the planter, it is how I finish my unique art pottery. The ink exposes the craze lines that form in the glaze after firing. The grout fills in the lines that I carved into the piece when it was soft, giving the illusion of tile work on the pottery.

It's not all fun and games being a potter, sometimes you have to get messy đŸ˜‚

If you have never smelled the sink trap in a potters studio, it is truly one of life's great experiences.

If you are new to my work and are wondering what is going on in this video, I am applying ink and grout to the planter after it has been fired. It is part of a unique finishing process that I developed.

If you really like this planter and want to buy it, it and several others will be available soon on my website.

While the social media age definitely had its challenges for artists, overall I'm not going to complain too much. We have an unprecedented level of reach and so many more opportunities to talk to people directly.

If you are new to my work, in this video I am applying ink to expose the craze lines in the white glaze. Then I am applying grout which fills in the lines that I carved into the clay that make the design.

Many people have asked to see a side by side of a before and after of me inking and grouting one of my pots. How about a live split screen of the process!

If you haven't seen one of my videos before, this is me applying ink and grout to one of my pots as part of the finishing process for my unique pottery.
