Even our foster families deserve a vacation! 🌴☀️ When they travel, we need caring volunteers to help watch our foster pups while they’re away.

This is a fantastic opportunity to experience having a dog in your home, help a rescue pup, and even see if a particular dog might be a good fit for your family.

We are jumping for joy to share we have received an UNBELIEVABLE donation of an Anysun 10FT Trampoline! 🤩

This prize bounced to us and we are thrilled to share it! Today at noon we opened online sales for raffle tickets for this unbelievable prize!

Here's the details:
➡️ You do not need to be present to win, but it is a very large box so local entries, we will not be able to ship it unfortunately.
➡️ There is no limit on the number of tickets you can purchase. Tickets are $5.00 each.
➡️ Online ticket sales run through 11:59pm on Saturday, June 27. After that you will only be able to purchase them in person at our anniversary party with cash or digital payment.

We NEED monetary donations, desperately. 😬😬

We are not the type of rescue that shies away from dogs who need to be treated for heartworm disease. This disease often keeps dogs in shelters because it’s expensive for rescues to treat. Perfectly friendly and happy dogs often sit in shelters for months, even years, simply because they test positive for heartworm. 😭

Times are tough, and our bank account is proof. 👎🏼 And it’s leading to us having to say no to helping more heartworm positive dogs.

To be clear, heartworm treatment alone costs us $600 per dog. Add in any other costs for caring for that animal, and their adoption fees don’t come close to covering their care.

On that note, we’d like you to meet two of our current heartworm positive pups!!! 💖

Berenice and Briar are two of the cutest little ladies we’ve ever seen! 😍 They are in the most amazing foster home together, getting ready to undergo heartworm treatment.

So we are asking our community to help. Your contribution will go directly to Berenice and Briar’s medical care. ❤️‍🩹

We recognize times are hard for everyone, and are infinitely grateful for every single donation, no matter how small!

🚐🐾 Surprise Transport Day! 🐾🚐

One of our favorite rescue partners
West Point Clay County Animal Shelter,
gave us a heads-up that they would be passing through on their way to Milwaukee. While we hadn’t originally planned a transport today, a few of our dedicated foster families were missing having a foster dog in their homes and were ready to help.

Our rescue partner had three dogs in need of a safe place to land, and our amazing fosters immediately stepped up to the plate. Because of them, we are thrilled to welcome Gorgina, a beautiful German Shepherd, along with two adorable puppies, Scout and Saffron, to the Rescued Rascals family! ❤️

And if you spotted the big hound girl in the photos, don’t worry—she was just stretching her legs and grabbing a quick break before continuing her journey north. 🐶

We are so excited to get to know these new arrivals and can’t wait to share more about them. Stay tuned—they’ll be available for adoption soon!

🆘🚨 URGENT FOSTER NEEDED 🚨🆘

Buehrle, the Rottie we recently pulled from Kendall County, is in need of a new foster home.

Quick facts ⬇️
- 1 year old
- No small dogs, cats, etc
- No younger kiddos
- Typical big rottie puppy who needs training

He is still not neutered but we will get that done asap at one of our partner vets.

And let’s be honest — she’s also the one who brings in the money that helps keep our mission moving forward! 💰❤️

🐾 Another Incredible Week of Happy Tails! 🐾

There is nothing quite like seeing a rescue dog walk out the door with the family they’ve been waiting for. This week, we are celebrating EIGHT amazing dogs who officially found their forever homes!🐾

Congratulations to Bella, Isla, Nessa, Korey, Ron, Loki, Blanche and Stella! ❤️🏡

Each adoption represents so much more than a happy photo. It represents second chances. Because these 8 dogs found their families, 6 foster homes are now available to welcome new dogs in need. 2 of these dogs were adopted to homes through our foster to adopt program. The ripple effect of adoption is powerful, and it allows us to continue saving lives one dog at a time.🐶

To our fosters: thank you for loving these dogs as your own and preparing them for success.

To our rescue partners: thank you for working alongside us to give these dogs a brighter future. 💜

To our adopters: thank you for choosing rescue and giving these deserving pups the homes they’ve been dreaming of.

UPDATE: ADOPTED 🐶🙌 🎉

🐾 This is a courtesy post for a very special pup looking for his forever home. 🏠

Recently, a foster family who works with Rescued Rascals took in Gizmo after his previous family was no longer able to provide the care he deserved. Wanting to help this sweet boy find the loving home he’s been waiting for, Rescued Rascals stepped in to assist with the search. 🐶

Gizmo is a 1-year-old Catahoula mix with a big heart and an adorable underbite (which unfortunately didn’t quite make it into the photos!). He is neutered, crate trained, potty trained, up-to-date on vaccines, and current on all preventative medications.

✨ Gizmo is:
• Great with people
• Great with other dogs
• Great with kids
• Good with cats when properly supervised

Gizmo’s foster family already has several dogs of their own while continuing to foster, so we’d love to help him find the amazing forever family he deserves.

🏵Lainey: 1 year old, female shepherd mix about 53 lbs. Certified wiggle butt looking for scritches

🌸Fanny: 3 years old, pit mix. Quiet and laid back lady looking for a couch to cuddle up for unlimited snuggles

🪷Sybil: 1 year old, female retriever mix. Tiny and shy but the biggest heart.

🏵Blue: approximately 3 years old, 65 lbs shepherd mix. Sweet and goofy boy.

🌸Red: 5 year old, male beagle around 20-25 lbs. Timid guy, but a heart of gold looking for a patient home to build trust and confidence. Would do great with another doggy friend to boost that confidence!
