Last week we shared a post about the hidden risks of dog waste, even during the winter.

Unfortunately, a new client experienced this firsthand when their puppy got sick with parvo after waste had been sitting in the yard. Situations like this are always tough, especially with young dogs.

We were able to get out the very next day and get everything cleaned up, but it’s an important reminder of why staying on top of pickups matters year-round.

A lot of people think dog waste isn’t a big deal in winter because it’s frozen.

In reality, bacteria and parasites can survive in frozen waste for months. When the snow melts, that contamination spreads through the yard, onto paws, and into your home.

That’s why regular winter cleanups matter just as much as summer ones, especially if you have kids or multiple dogs.

Wisconsin winter at it again ‼️❄️

Yesterday we were up around Neenah and Appleton after the recent snow melt, and with the recent fresh snowfall we’re right back at it today keeping yards under control.
