At the moment, she’s still with me… ❤️🩹
Came home from work today to find mama bear on the floor of her enclosure. I know this is her time due to her actions, her age (3)y (4)mos old and she stopped eating awhile ago. She doesn’t move around much. She’s not social. She’s just a little tired little old lady..
One of Miamis three females I have left. These are bittersweet moments. Not any different as in the passing part because each time they pass, my heart does hurt so very much because of all I invest in these babies. I have them from the moment they hatch until their last little breath. I think it’s amazing she lived that long. I’m sad but I understand the nature needs her back. I know that she’s gonna go back to her mom Miami. I know that she’s gonna go back to the big weapon in the sky and see all her siblings. The best part is is that she waited for me. For the first hour and a half she slept on both of my teeth numb nails. Silly girl. 🥹
I will say this. If you ever get the chance to raise a jumper, and have the right things it needs to survive please do so. Educate yourself and others. You will not regret it I promise you. Not only will. I help you to learn to respect spiders that you never ever thought was possible, but you will build a bond that you never in 1 million years dreamed of. I never and I mean never thought of myself in a spider let alone four years worth spiders hundreds of them at that. And now I can’t imagine my life without them. I was only wanting one somehow, God knew I needed more. Some people may not believe and that’s fine, but I do. I believe that everything in my life happens for a reason, and I strongly believe that they came into my life to help me along, and that they are still here to continue helping me along. I was blessed with a gravid mama twice so I became a spider grandma pretty quickly. Regals aren’t native in California so you can’t just let them go here. I wouldn’t change a thing not one thing.
OK, I lied. I would change their life expectancy, especially the little boys. They definitely aren’t given a long enough life. Love them all!
Love them all while you can. Enjoy them to the fullest. Spoil them! Take many pics! Let these babies soothe your soul. Let these babies help your fears of other spiders. They are harmless. They are funny. They are silly. They are sweet. They are beautiful. They are precious. They are amazing.
If you took the time to read this, thank you… Now I have to go back to my sweet girl because I’m pretty sure she won’t be with me tomorrow morning. It’s gonna be a long night so I’m prepared to read a book with her cozy on my “spooder mom”pillow & my girl. All my puppers know it’s about her atm. ❤️🩹
