Willett is becoming a feisty, independent lady! She loves to play with her puppy siblings, but she also puts herself in the kennel for some down time. She is quite affectionate and loves her snuggle time with her humans. Willett is starting to follow her foster mom around the house and explore – she is always getting her nose into things! Willett loves hiding under furniture and sticking her paw out to play. She was the smallest of the litter, but she is eating like a champ. Although she is tiny, Willett has a big personality! She is such a sweet girl and will do well in any home that has the time and dedication for a puppy.

Lucy’s world was small. She comes to us as a breeder surrender when they couldn’t care for puppies any longer. Lucy was never away from her parents or outdoors. Because the lack of socialization she is timid. She requires a home with time at patients to give her the time she needs to adjust to. Lucy requires a male friend and a fence for her to feel secure. We have another litter of puppies . We were contacted by an elderly breeder who was no longer able to care for the litter. Thanks to the quick action of several volunteers, we were able to get all 8 puppies safely into foster homes.
Their individual links are posted on AABR's website . She also surrendered a soon to be 4 month old puppy from a previous litter . She is currently fostered in Virginia. The other seven puppies will be turning 8 weeks old next week, and will be available to go to their new homes at that time. These puppies are in foster homes in Maryland.
We will be working hard to get all of the puppies seen soon at the vet to begin their dewormer and vaccines. We are working with the breeder to bring the parents of these pups into rescue. If they won’t surrender we hope they will allow us to spays and neuter.
This is a first for AABR caring for 3 litters at once. Puppies are popular. They take time, training, socializing. Before applying, please make sure you are home enough to provide what they need. We are committed to finding homes who understand the time and commitment for this age. There adoption fee is $800. They will be fully vetted. Spay/Neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped.
