💙 THOR NEEDS A HOME 💙

Thor is an 8-year-old Boxer currently located in Maryland. His beloved owner has congestive heart failure, and sadly, her health has taken a turn for the worse. She is spending more time in the hospital, and her greatest wish is to know that her beloved Thor will be safe, loved, and cared for in a wonderful home. 💔

Thor is a fantastic boy who gets along with children of all ages, cats, and dogs of all sizes. He truly is the kind of Boxer who deserves a soft landing and a family to love him.

Thor could stand to lose some weight, and AABR will make sure he is fully updated on his veterinary care before placement.

🚨 We urgently need a foster or adopter for Thor.
AABR wants to help this sweet boy, but we need a safe place for him to go.

Just when you thought you’ve seen all the cuteness possible… Emiko enters the scene and steals the show! 🤩

Emiko is 3 years old, and is making her way into rescue because she isn’t getting along with her boxer sister. She is beyond loved in her current home which is why they want to make the best decision for their girl. She’s housebroken, crate trained, knows basic obedience, walks nicely on leash and rides well in the car. She’s good with all people, but has not been around small children or cats. Daphne, riding into rescue and on the lookout for a family! 💕

This little girl’s future could’ve looked very different had she not been scooped up by rescue. At just 1 year of age she was being given away for free on Facebook, which is never a good thing for an unspayed dog, or any dog for that matter. She is now spayed, up to date on vet care, crate trained and so so sweet. Daphne is deaf, and because of that we would really like for her to go with another dog, also because she loves to play and run with the pack! No cat history. Link below to apply.

Gigi. A 2 YO breeder discard, and thankfully her life will be a whole lot better because she was no longer wanted. She’s beautiful, and her personality is just as lovely. She is quiet and unassuming, and a little tentative at the moment, but we know her foster family is going to help her along. We do know that Gigi is good with other dogs, but no kid or cat history to speak of. Follow along for more updates as we get to know this amazing girl. We are accepting applications for Gigi. Charlie is a sweet 3 year old boy whose owner loved him dearly but, in her words, was simply too old to safely walk him anymore. She wanted what was best for him, and we’re so glad she reached out for help.

Charlie lived with two other dogs and absolutely loved having canine companions. He is now settling into foster care in Lancaster, PA with a female Boxer and is doing wonderfully.

Charlie will be fully vetted ASAP and is looking for a forever family with:

🐶 A female friend
❤️ Lots of love and time to enjoy life with his people

Charlie has so much love to give. He deserves a family who will make him part of their everyday life and give him the happy future his owner hoped for.
