For nearly two years, Rocky survived on the streets of Texas, searching for food and safety. Then he discovered a McDonald’s drive-thru and began approaching cars, hoping someone would share a meal with him. 🥺🐶

Animal rescuer Zully Vasquez Ventura had tried for months to earn his trust. He would happily accept food but always backed away when she tried to touch him.

One day, Rocky approached her car and appeared to point his nose toward the menu. Zully bought him a hamburger, recorded the moment, and shared another plea for help.

This time, Mike’s Chance Animal Rescue stepped in.

Using scrambled eggs to encourage him into a crate, Zully finally brought Rocky to safety. Once indoors, his frightened behavior began to fade, revealing a playful, loving dog.

She named him Rocky, and by August 2026, he was receiving veterinary care and staying in foster care while awaiting adoption.

For nearly two years, Rocky had to approach strangers for food. Now, he finally has something more precious: safety, care, and the chance to find a forever family. ❤️🐾
